It will probobly be u attack or block and there doing the same at the same time. So it might take some skill instead of just click and it does it al i think.

u shoul dhave some control over combat. those of u that hae played rs know waht i mean. maybe there is a button for a high attk one for a midle atack adn one for low atk one for block. and the higher ur level gets the more combo\'s u can get and the longer they get.

I think the combat in rs sucked. You click and it does a repetitive motion over and over for you. Its really stupid. I dont think we should use parts from rs combat to make the one for ps.

well in EQ combat you click Auto-Attack and you automatically attack the target with your primary attack, be it 2 handed weapons, 2 weapons, weapon and shield, w/e, you can use a secondary attack such as kick, various punches, and i think you can even whack them with a shield...

EQ\'s system sounds good, we could use that and add something new to it to make it better. :)

i think it should be more like a shooting game. because the game\'s first person so auto combat would be really boring because U don\'t even see your character fughting all U will see is your sword and shield ( in my case 2 swords) moving on your screen and you can\'t control them as for archery U can aim better in first person  :D

but the fighting system should be like mortal combat...u initate the fight then the screen changes to the view of mortal combat kinda....lol. (http://members.aol.com/bri78387/images/evil.gif)

EQ\'s battle system is fun, and its more than auto attack, u can cast spells(which are must more convient than rs, they dont use runes to cast spells ^^) each race has its own ability it can do(ok so its really its class that has hte ability but uh im gonna get yelled at if i say the c word!) those abilities our things such as kick, bind wounds, slam, and others(also other options like beg, fish, etc.)

that would be nice to have an autofighter...i could go away form comp for hours and let my guy train.

PLZ developers put that in game!!!! ill give u a dollar..

No Eq combat.  Eq combat = boring as hell.   I can get a coffee and snack while I wait for it to end.  No, definately boring.  At least make the interface better anyway.  The interface was designed by a retarded chimp.....at least I have often thought it must have been.  Honest to god, its bland, takes up a very large portion of the screen (more than half If I remember aright) and is quite cumbersome.  Eq can be fun....then again, you can die and spend the next 3 hours trying to recover corpses (you go back for you body, die, go back, die, and so on, hoping to end the iteration of death/respawn eventually).  I just hope they don\'t restrict binding to mages.  That was a awesome mistake in Eq....because fighters, rogues, and what have you were completely dependent on magic users.  We want a non-magical thing for that, so everyone can do it.  Otherwise the game becomes a corpse hunt all to often.

how about some sort of training wiht ur friends for combat..

like u and ur friend each go buy a kendo stick (or however they are spelt) and jsut pratice on each other?of course there bieng a limit ot the lvl u get doin this..

i put this here cuz its kinda like combat...sorta...cept noone get hurt cuz ur using a few bamboo things tied together..
