Title: Problem with the new server : DISCONNECT first !

The new server appears to be up and running !

I would advise anyone who has a permanent-like connection (dsl, ...) to close his/her network connection to the ISP, then to open it again before checking the server status and before trying to log in PS.

I\'m no network expert, maybe it is due to the fact that the IP is changed (203.81.47.74 instead of 203.81.47.27 ?) whereas the name is the same. Anyway, it worked for me and a few others.

Maybe someone could enlighten us on that topic ?

Yes, the server is under a different IP address and the people at Fragnetics just changed the DNS ( planeshift.fragnetics.com ) to point to this new IP.  It can take a while to have this change propogate through the internet but it should be ok now.

If you cannot connect using the name then try using the IP of 203.81.47.74

I\'m having horrible lag since moving server :(
I can\'t even get out from dungeon (not that i want to)
Before it was going pretty smooth for me...

I haven\'t played much yet after the server moved, but in the time that I have I also noticed a somewhat lower performance then before.
