Title: Mirth Guild - Update

Mirth was one of the first \"good\" guilds in the Planeshift world, but we have been largely inactive for several months.  The web site is currently being revamped, inactives are being weeded out, and we are accepting new members.

Our goal is to explore the world of Planeshift and have fun while doing so.  Wherever we go, we help others to enjoy the game.  This may range from teaching new players, to aiding those in danger, to mediating guild wars.

Mirth is looking for people of any race or profession (with the exception of thieves), who are willing to generally have a good time exploring the world.

 We\'re glad that one of the oldest Planeshift Guilds (hehe ... we were before you :) ) is back on these realms. So ... I and the Black Order Guild wishes you GOOD LUCK and to become quickly what you once were !

Good to see Mirth getting active again.

Allthough if i recall correctly your guild\'s alignment leaned more to \"happy\" then \"good\".

We believe that the best way to be happy is to be \"good\".  We play with integrity and help those who need it.  Of course, some people have fun being evil.  It\'s all a matter of opinion.  But yes, our main goal is to have fun while exploring and helping out.

Hi Half_Pint,

Congratulations on your return. Bloodlines and Arcane Order are two very new guilds and we would like to establish good relations and interaction with Mirth.

Why, oh why do u got that left frame there? Would it suppose to be ads in there?
There\'s a lot other free webspace providers where there will not be any ads, why not use them?

I\'m not in charge of the guild web site atm, so you\'ll have to ask YanRK.  
I normally use geocitites, but I\'ve been getting errors with anything I put up there.

Ok, i\'ll take that question Annah ;)
Well, i made the site using a bit of php, so it requires a host that allows php. I know that there are a few hosts that provide php with no advertisments, however for the forum to work (and members to be stored - the way the site works atm) it needs a database such as mysql.

Right. Origianly when i first started mirth, i payed for the hosting, however when the subscription ran out i could no longer afford it, so, i need a free host.

I know there are a one or two free hosts that provide ad free php+mysql, but they suck, (i know i\'ve tried nearly all of them!) and i\'ve tried remote databases but many don\'t allow the use of discussion bords.

 - Sorry that was a bit lengthy but i did try honest.

if you know a good free host with php+mysql then tell me it\'ll be realy easy to migrate the site (if the host is any good)

However, i have great difficalty trying to sign up to a host in a language i don\'t know. :(

Hehe ... good to see you back YanRK.
 I really hope that the relations between our guilds will become very good :) .
 I also want to announce that I agreed with Atticus that I will become the King of the Black Order ... and he will take my place in the High Council.
 So ... what do you say if I will make an alliance proposal ... for the start ... not a full alliance.
 I guess you know which are our allies in these times (Azure Order ... they are alive, if you want I can make whitti post ... hehe, Dark Empire and Hellsing if they will be here).
 What do you say my friend? YanRK ... you can think at this for a few days if you want.

Mirth Leadership Anouncement

As i supose a few of you know i\'m not going to be able to manage a guild as i\'m not going to have acess to a computer for two years (starting arround oct/nov)

So, it has been decided that Half-Pint will now lead mirth guild (our site still needs updating, and kada, could you do the same plz?)

So, any questions about the guild, aliences, etc should go to him.
