I was wondering.. will mouselook and curser be incorperated together in the final release? (Example wile mouselook is on, will i be able to chat an do other things?)
-
Yeah, I was kinda wondering about that myself. Like, mouselook and clicking things is weird. And you can\'t easily input chat. In mouselook there should be a little cursor in the middle of the screen. And there should be a key bound to toggle chat input. That\'s my idea.
-
yeah, kinda wondering too. But can the makers of this game input a INVERT MOUSE function? I am sadly an invert mouse victim who cant get use to the normal mouselook.
-
I have another problem : outside the mouse speed is fine, but inside buildings it becomes way to slow !!
-
I agree with the mouse speed as well. Be nice to be able to adjust it.
-
you can adjust the mouselook sensitivity. search the forum for client customization or something similar.
-
can someone make something to display a targeting cursor in the middle of the screen to make the mouselook more effective
-
yes, someone can, and probably will.
-
hehe, I guess i should rephrase that - i know someone can - i want someone to make one now :)
-
why dont you do it?

Yeh I too hope they put mouselook in proply I know this game isn\'t a first person shooter but if its going to have a first person view it needs first person shooter mouse look and when they put this in it HAS to have an invert option I to am an invert mouse boy
-
I never liked inversion except for on flight sims for some reason
-
I would Like a mouse look, Right now the game feels wierd without one.
-
there is a mouselook just hit your backslash key to go into mouselook mode. It may not be the most userfriendly way to implement it right now but it is there.
I\'m sure they will come up with a better method in future releases.
-
I wish it flowed more like an FPS though... although that\'ll probably come once the lag is patched up... and is it just me or do all the views seem a little awkward? I just never have felt like I\'ve gotten a realistic viewpoint from the first person mode.
-
just you I would say. the lag is the primary problem with smoothness the graphics engine isn\'t optimized yet.
-
Why dont they have it so u can zoom in to ur charactor with the scroll so u can switch to first person or zoom out about 10 feet, and have the mouse look around and have where ever your looking you head turns and looks the direction so your feet do not glide on the ground. just an idea.

yeah thats what I would like - a zoom function would be nice
and I wasn\'t attacking the graphics they are nice - and getting better - but the fixed view bothers me - zoom would be nice

From Mogura\'s Newbie FAQ
44. The third View mode seems pretty useless... how do I use it?
This is the Camera mode. Click and hold the right mouse button and move the mouse to rotate/tilt the camera. Hold both buttons down and move the mouse towards/away from you to zoom in and out.
-
Thank you Abemore,
How did i miss #44 in Mogura\'s Newbie FAQ.

I\'d implement a toggle to mouselook on a third mouse button, so that you can go in and out of mouselook without having to take your hand off the mouse.
Also when you go into and out of mouselook with the \\ key, it takes you back to looking straight ahead sometimes, rather than just leaving the viewpoint the same.
