First of all, for a free game in its alpha stages, this game looks AWESOME.
how can i take my game out of windowed mode and in full screen mode? I dont like seeing my desktop behind my game

Welcome to Planeshift !
You can use the pssetup.exe program to change the display settings (\"Planeshift Setup\" program from the Windows start menu).
Have also a look at this nice FAQ (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=4594&boardid=1&styleid=3).
Have fun !

Is it possible to switch between windowed and fullscreen without restarting the client? If it isn\'t, that would be a real nice thing to have in a future version.
(Also, to echo iluvguns, Planeshift rocks my socks. I\'m new here too (hi, everyone), and hope I can help a tiny bit to make PS as great as it can be.)

the windows client had problems with that, probably it still isn\'t fixed. On my system (gentoo linux), it works by pressing \"alt-enter\". It\'s only a matter of time until this useful feature is available for poor windows users, also...:D

Wheeee! Thanks! I\'m a Gentoo guy, too. Cool that the devs seem to care about the Linux client as much as the Windows one.
-
hmm, thats another story, I fear actually they care more about the windows client, since it has more glitches, than the linux one and there are more people out there using windows than linux users.
Correct me if I\'m completely mistaken...;)

I think it would be pretty interesting to actually see some stats on how many players are actually using Linux. I would guess it is pretty high, but still a substantial minority. Any admins care to share?
