I KNOW this is the pre-alpha test version of the game, but is there anything interesting to do?

You can fire up your compiler, art program, html editor, etc and try to create some new content.

You can also beat your head against a concrete wall over and over again until you pass out either dead or half alive. And when, and if you come too maybe you will be less of what you are now, and more of what you aren\'t, annoying.
If you know that this is a pre-alpha stage, what\'s the point in asking if there is stuff to do, the whole question hurts my acute sense of intellect, damn you and the question straight to hell. TO HELL! X(

speakin of which acraig,
which areas are you most needing help in right now? I can program, model in 3d or write content for game or marketing.
I also am a web developer for a living.
I am trying to decide which areas I should apply for.

Ok, iluvguns, this is what you do. Go to work, pick up your paycheck, then tell you boss to go screw a mom donkey. Then he will fire you, after that go to the bank and cash in your check and give it to the closest lady to you. Then go home brow your brains out.

Have a nice day.  :]

polite answer:
afaik, collect gems, and talk to NPCs to find the single available quest. I think you can buy stuff somewhere too.

Well, the Fragnetics\' web site could do with a make over to make it more unique.  I think that it should be in a similar style as it is but have it clear that the site is Fragnetics and they are seperate from PlaneShift.

Hi Zaphar,

I\'m full of ideas (by no means always good ones  :D ) but not too clued up on the web-development side and useless at 3D modeling. What about we get together and work on some ideas, maybe not so much the franetics website as I won\'t be worth much there but maybe some designs for ideas in the city/location Wish List. There are some stunning ideas out there but it needs to be concretized visually as graphics, 3d virtual rooms etc.

Also some work can be done on visuals for some of the monsters people have proposed to make them more \"alive\".

Yes, that would be perfect.  I can let you know what sort of info that is available from the server/database as well ( like server status, current number of players etc ) so you can have layouts for that data as well.

Oh goodie new site soon...  :D
We\'re really hoping that there will be a way to distinguish the server pages from the main Planeshift ones. Actually I\'ve noticed that there are some portions of the Planeshift site itself that need updating and some reorganization of the information would really help in presenting the information on Planeshift more clearly.

Eg :
1) On the server page of the main Planeshift site the PS server is still listed as 203.81.47.27 instead of .74.
2) to get to the main server page you\'d have to click 3 levels into the Planeshift website : Download > Official Servers > Server Pages
3) The merchant and account deletion pages were not linked to directly from the server page until today (when I finally got my lazy ass down to putting up the hyperlink)

Frankly, I\'m unclear on how the information should be prioritized, but perhaps a dropdown menu for the main top bar could be useful for the main Planeshift site.

Personally I like the design of the pages a lot but I think there can be a lot of work done on the navigation aspect.

Whilst we\'re talking about PS websites, the main PS site at planeshift.it can use some cosmetic improvement. Not to tread on anybody\'s toes, but I\'m refering to the text on those pages. A lot of the grammar and style in the written parts can be improved so as to read better. Anyone working on that?
