Title: Mirth Guild Recruiting

We are looking for anyone who has an adventurous spirit and is willing to uphold the guild beliefs.

Beliefs
1. All races are equal, but individuals may be lesser if they prove a nuisance! But Mirth Guild members are united, and above the rest.
2. Helping people is the best way forward. Be sympathetic, and don\'t rub the facts in their face.
3. Happiness is the source of life and goodness. Evil will lead you to misery, and misery to death (or equivalent).

The only profession we disallow is thievery. All other professions are welcome to join. Merchants are as welcome as warriors and mages.

Some Mirth Guild members wander the land, while some choose to settle down. Whatever they do, though, they spread joy and happiness to all they encounter. We do what we can to help others, and never do anything \"unmirthful.\"

Mirth is a democracy led by a leader and an elected council. Every member of level 3 and higher may vote.

At this time, all we can do is make plans and get organized, but wouldn\'t it be better to get in on it early?

Planeshift is a game which defiately should have guilds, since quite a bit of gameplay is planned to be for guilds, and the whole thing is guild orenteated (or will be) :P

However it is kinda early for in game guilds. but it\'s nice to have a group of friends before you start to play, just so you can see someone you know, and get to know others interssted in PS, dont you think?

Congratulations with getting Mirth Guild up and running again. There is truly a need for more guilds with a positive outlook like yours, it is refreshing compared to the \"we-will-rule-the-world-and-destroy-you-all\" type of guilds.

We are still accepting new members. 8) Please do not apply if you do not fit with the following:
1. We don\'t accept thieves/assassins
2. You must uphold the guild beliefs and follow the rules
3. You must be especially respectful of members of Mirth and our allies
4. You must agree to check and post on our forums at least once a week.
This is pretty basic stuff. :)

A bit of an update regarding our organization. The guild is led by a five-member elected council. Most council decisions must be approved by the leader to be passed. Every member level 3+ may vote or run for council.

Level 7s are Section Leaders and each is in charge of 10 members of levels 3-6. The section leaders are masters of their field and help their members to achieve greater skill. There are also specific section leaders for new members.

Mirth Guild does not ally with evil or anarchic guilds. We are currently allied with the Black Order (neutral) and the Defenders (good).

If there are any ppl out there looking for a guild to join that is out to have fun and generally be nice to ppl and other guilds you need look no further!

Just join Mirth guild and help spread some Mirth! We can use some of that around PS what with the revolution (sic) and all .... :D

I\'d also like to announce that another old member has returned to us. Fanomatic2000 was recently removed from the guild, but has come back! Welcome! That brings our number of active members up to eleven! :P

Our web site has moved. Please use mirthguild.tk to access it from now on. The new site has pop-ups, but lacks the enormous ads that were giving us trouble in Lycos. A big thanks to YanRK for all his work on the web site! :))

Due to school and other obligations, I will be unable to play PS from Sunday night to Friday for the next month or so. I will stay active in the forums though.

Lol, that would be an interesting (even if it were terminally brief) battle. Here\'s how I picture it:
