Title: It says "server down", but its "up" on the website.

Just finished installing and i\'m trying to get into this wonderful game...

Linkdead first try. though, not to be discouraged, i put the ip adress in; but i have to try a different name. \"Alrighty...\" i say as i re-create my character a second time with somewhat different things. \"Server is down. Please try again later.\" it says.

so, i head over to the main site remembering i had seen something that could tell me if the server was active.

it \'said\' it was \"active\". What\'s going on here?

I dont know if XP is to blame (Micro$oft, indeed) for something in it, or i dont have port 13331 enabled. so, how do i:
1: Make sure port 13331 is open?
2: Make ABSOLUTLY sure i dont get another Linkdead

and will PS let me play if i have:
500mhz
256MB RAM
32MB GeForce 2 MX
 ?(

blaming M$ is always a good choice...:D

1. you shouldn\'t need to open port 13331, unless you run a server!
