Title: servers

when i read about planeshift it sounded cool but when i started playing i couldnt stand it!

the lag was unbearable, i then found out it was because the server is in singapore and im in eastern USA. i think PS should have a server in each continent and if not then at least 4 servers spread out amongst earth

that\'s not really the problem... you are awre that this is a tech demo right (a pre-alpha version) of the game?  It hasn\'t been all cleaned up and spit-shined yet!  Don\'t expect it to run like a gold release game just yet.

what Drilixer said. this is a pre-alpha... for your information alpha is a tech demo with some stuff and is before a beta, and a beta has all the stuff and just needs to be ballanced and is before the final version; so pre-alpha is just a tech-demo testing if the stuff works.

by the time planeshift gets to pre-beta the server lag should be cleared up, i hope. :] (AKA \"wait a long time, come back, and it will be much better\" :P )

Sorry to sound like a cynic and all, no evil is meant but..the game is free as we know, yet servers are\'nt, how can you keep this going unfinanced by the players?, are you going to accept donations, have banner ads on the web page etc?.

The server is donate by Fragnetics.

@dorbian: Well, there\'s always Illyria.. plus, Im pretty sure that there is a few krans. :D

Krans arent the most interesting partygoers unless if you let them eat some wild crystals!
