Title: The Crimson Order Guild, back from never gone.

Hail to all creatures from the planeshift world.
Take a moment to have a look at what is one of the most succesfull - though almost never heard of - guilds in the \"wonderfull world of Planeshift\", the Crimson Order.

A long time ago it was decided that there would be no advertising for new recruits, for we would meet them in the gameworld. And the Order grew in one of the largest guilds and lead the crystal count for some time. However by this strategy the Order was known only by its members and some of the more regular players. To be honest almost no one has ever heard about us these days. That is why we are comming out if you will, to let all of you know we are still here, still strong and... still recruiting.

The Order is primarely about having fun with our buddies but we do so in a quite strict line of command. The Order is lead by a council representing the members of their sub-guilds. This is because the order can be split up in four different groups knowing: Guards, Scouts, Artisians (smiths, alchemists, the more constructive jobs so to speak) and intell. We plan to be self-sufficient or as close to that as possible. Every Guild member can choose to serve one of these departments as we like to call them, depending on their own wishes and choises. It might sound like we have some army-like line of command to some, but don\'t worry. Apart from an occasional order from the council, you are free to roam wherever you like and just do your thing.

Beside seeing each other in Hydlaa, we have our own board were we keep the contacts up and chat about virtually everything. Call it the home of the Order if you like. We also have a website, though under some construction, with some info for whoever is interested in becoming a member of the Crimson Order. Crimson Order? Hmm ... BO is here since the end of 2001 ...  but we never heard of you guys. But like you said you stayed hidden.
 Anyway ... Good Luck with the guild.

Yup zabeal ... you\'re right :) We really don\'t play Planeshift. Our guild is waiting for the full version ... or maybe a playable one ...

Hi Kelython,

Nice to see you ppl \"coming out of the closet\"  :D

I\'ve done some research on guilds in PS even before you posted this thread and I must say I was quite impressed by the way in which CO just quietly went about their business doing your own thing.

Good luck with your recruitment drive, I\'m sure it will attract you some new members to your well established and well organised guild.

Thanx wolfmane, that\'s really appreciated. But it\'s not my guild, i\'m just doing PR and the website. Abaddon is our Patriarch and i would like to take this opportunity to thank him for a job really good done (doing actually;))

We have decided to include Crimson Order in the 1st 10 examples in our Comparative Guild Survey (Abbadon knows about this). I will complete putting CO\'s data into HTML form today and mail him the web-page for approval. As soon as we go public I will let you know the URL. Needless to say we are impressed by CO, it\'s achievements and especially your style of doing things. Hopefully the CGS will boost the general knowledge of your great guild.

I (we) know, Abaddon posted it on our forums (here (http://www1.akheva.com/bcrimsonorder)) Thank you lots for doing so. I can\'t wait to read your survey, it\'s a good thing you\'re doing for the community. Good luck and i\'ll be sure to link it on our website once you go pubic.

Hi again all in CO!

Well the survey is done but some guilds are requesting last minute changes, but it will go public soon ......, I hope  8o  aaahhh I mean I promise .....  :D

I hope this thread and the survey will show many in the PS community that have not noticed the quiet yet determined way Crimson Order goes about it\'s business (without the antics of trying to attract attention to itself at every possible occasion) what a gem there is hidden here.

Any newcomers or ppl looking for a new guild, check this one out there is some real \"meat\" here and not just hot air.  :P
