y do i lag so much i have a gig of ram 2.8 gig processor T1 connection a SiS 64mb vid card (crappiest thin gon me comp) windows XP professional. it runs but its so damn laggy is there any way to fix this?
-
everybody lags... It doesn\'t really matter how powerful your machine is.. I don\'t think there\'s much to do right now, other than wating for the next improvement.
Keep in mind this is a pre-aplha tech demo...
-
i don\'t lag because i have a massive amount of ram. this game just eats it untill the next version comes out.
-
SiS is probably a big contributor for you.
-
heh SiS suxs ass i want a Raedon 7500 or a Geeforce 4 or 5 if it ever comes out >_^ but i was talknig to people who didnt lag at all in game when i takes me 3 mins to make a single step? and also how much is massive ammounts of ram? like 3 gigs?
-
I used to lag and now hardly at all. All I did was set the compatability mode for psclient (in Windows XP) to Windows 2000. The newbie guide tells you to set it to Windows 98/ME but that will not work well.
I am now lag free and fell through a HUGE hole and into a large cavern where I am now stuck **cough**spawn**cough**
-
i set compatibilty to 200, 98/me, and 95 and i still lag like hell but on 200 it lags the least
-
Never heard of Windows 200... Only 2000
-
your comp is too slow or the graphics card is old
-
Dude don\'t worry about it, it doesn\'t matter how good your pc is it won\'t help at all with the lag but i think the devs are workin on it for the next version

You didn\'t even read his post, did you. A 2.8GB processor is by no means slow.

I\'ve seen you do this two times now and I just feel the urge to correct you now.

Pff... I\'ve always said I\'m not a tech-head. :P
