I keep getting errors similar to this when i try to run psclient, pssetup, etc.
[myname@localhost planeshift]$ ./psclient-bin -verbose
no CEL environment variable set!
Warning: Failed to load `gl3d\'; reason(s):
DLERROR (gl3d): libopengl32.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Warning: Failed to load `gl3d\'; reason(s):
DLERROR (gl3d): libopengl32.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl\'
aws-debug: Couldn\'t find iGraphics2D plugin!!
psclient: No 3d driver (iGraphics3D) plugin!
How do i go about fixing such problems...where do i start?

make sure you have 3-d acceleration enabled for your system.
Usually you do this by changing the configuration of your x-server.
In order to give your more information on that though I need to know what distro you are using?
-
I\'m using the latest mandrake distro with DRI enabled and my x config file is using the ATI driver which is the only way I could get x to work. (getting x to work was a pain by the way).
I know planeshift should work with this machine as i\'ve used it before when i had window$ installed.
-
Just thought of something...
Should i download crystalspace and/or other stuff (CEL) to make this work?
-
U must have Crystal Space and CEL to compile it... Maby u need it for the binaries too. Wouldn\'t be suprised if u do
-
I also tried running in software mode but go this:
[root@localhost planeshift]# ./psclient-bin -video=software -verbose
no CEL environment variable set!
Using alternative 3D driver: crystalspace.graphics3d.software
Warning: Failed to load `xwin\'; reason(s):

I am not sure what Mandrake uses to edit the config file but You need to enable 3d acceleration explicitly.
Any Mandrake users out there who know how Mandrake handles this? I guess he could just edit manually if he knows where to go.
