I have find that on a site,perhaps the cause of the lags:

Research shows that 90% of the time when there is lag in any computer game, it is due to someone running AOL in the background while playing. AOL\'s waol.exe program is one of the largest bandwith and memory hoggers on any computer. However, the file is necessary for connecting to AOL\'s network, so many dialup users are forced to play with it running. Fortunately, there is a program that can end this lag. This program can also make non-aol users surf the web at up to 50% faster, and play games with up to 35% less lag! ITS AMAZING!

Firstly, not alot of people here use AOL (to my knowledge). Although according to your information, I can see how it could create an extra layer of lag for those who do.

Secondly, it\'s hardly any use unless you actually tell us what this marvelous program is called. :)

after a bit of research i found the site where he plucked it from:

it can be downloaded there, not that people will but hey, what good is that post without a site where you can download that program.
