Title: Deadlink problem

I am new to the game.  I have read the threads about dead link, but does indicate where to change IP address, and where to change compatibility for Windows operating system.  I am run WIN 2K.  Help please.

I have tried umpteen times, and still get the deadlink message.

i\'m running win2k too and i have no problems at all.
you should try to create you character fast though maybe that could solve your inkdead problem .

and otherwise you can ask someone on the board to create your character for you so that you can log in with your character and if that won\'t work there really is a problem ( the ip change is at the end where you need to log in with your username and password the first option is the ip adress )

(One thing that may or may not be noted anywhere on these forums is that you must use all of your character creation points otherwise you\'ll run into problems.)
