Title: Group duels
Post by: Rageburst on September 18, 2003, 09:46:36 am
I was wondering if consentual dueling allows groups/parties to battle it out. Basically all group members have to agree to fight against each other.

It would also be nice if there were environments that enhances the pvp aspect such as look-out towers for archers or capturable castles where upon capturing you can get benefits such as +money per unit time and so forth.

I\'m assuming that fighting won\'t be restricted to 1v1 only. (I hope)
For the castles, that sounds a bit like a RTS to gain money. They would be best just for tactical postions for guilds more than anything else.
I think that look-out towers would be good, they can extend range with a bow, and line of sight. (This might lagg the lookout though 8) )

I agree with both of these concepts Rage.  I think you will see them happen eventually.

Just wondering though, how does group combat work anyway?  Are engagements limited to one on one at melee while casters and archers fire in from the back I guess?  I don\'t really know enough about combat to think how it should work, but just wondering.
