I\'ve read that dice rolling is included in the game as a roleplaying feature. Could some kind individual explain how this works and how it enhances the roleplaying experience...if in fact it does.
Not being snotty, just curious.

Type /roll #d# to roll # dice with # sides. Type /help to see the other commands.
-
To use the Roll function, type /roll #d# in the chat box, where # are numbers of dice rolled and the number of sides they have.
As for enhancing roleplaying, I have no idea. I think that\'s just an excuse. ;) Unless Talad really thinks people are going to be nerdy enough to RP situations and /roll the outcome...
*Shrugs*
Anyway, not many people RP ingame yet. There\'s simply not enough content to do so. Perhaps in CB people will do it more, but hopefully there\'ll be more stimulating things to do than stand there and /roll stuff.
Hope this helps :)
[Edit: Beaten to it ;)]

What? You don\'t find rolling dice exciting?
EDIT: Just realized that I had deleted my sig from my webspace. Now it\'s there again

Just to clarify...dice rolling is just an option and isn\'t really required to perform actions in the game?
Thanks for the responses.

As far as I know it\'s not required for anything.
