If you breathe in rapidly, and deeply, for a minute before holding your breath... you are perfectly able to hold your breath for more than four minutes, since there is more than enough oxygen in your system... d\'uh... :P
And besides, have you ever tried holding your breath for as long as you can? If you continue past that border, you\'ll pass out, and the body will take over respiration..
