Hi,
i succesfully downloaded all five parts of the game without any problems but i just can not download the reassembler.
I tried four or five different sources but everytime i only got a window in which my comp informs me, that he is trying to get the file information.
It is not showing the estimated time the download will take or something else, it is not proceeding to the query \"save \"save as\", the window is just open and...do nothing ;)
Does anyone know what to do? (Or could anyone just e-mail me the file at Anachronist@web.de)
thanks
Ana

Don\'t worry about that. :)
Open up a DOS Prompt and go to the directory where you\'ve stored the .part files. Type the following:
copy /b PSV0.2.010.Part1 + PSV0.2.010.Part2 + PSV0.2.010.Part3 PSV0.2.010.Part4 PSV0.2.010.Part5 PlaneShiftV02.010.exe
This will (hopefully) create the PS installation file in the same directory. Run this newly created file to start the setup process.
Hope this helps

so far thanks for the help ;) but now i have an other problem.
I succeeded in copying all five files to the installer.exe but whenever I run the new file I get an error message, which says, that the file is damaged or corrupted and that this may be the result of a dowenload error or a virus.
Should I try a new download?

i had the same problem the file is probably 0 kb.
i never received an answer to that.
but i suggest to try the mirror site and if that won\'t work you have to tap a dev on the shoulder and ask him for a solution ( is there anybody that like\'s the idea to put the installer file on a bittorent network and also think about being a server for it.
if more people agree i\'d love to be a server for the game to it makes the download alot more easeable.

Download the MD5 signature checker from the download page. Check each of your .part files for an inconsistency.
If you find any, you must redownload that particular .part file again, replacing the old one. Delete the .exe file, use the DOS command I gave you again, and see if the new exe allows you to install.

i downloaded all the part files several times already and placed them into different folders so i won\'t get confused but it\'s still there.
the system that had this error was windows ME don\'t know if that could be part of it all ( dang windows we should all take linux )

Windows is okay. WinME is just the worst version to come out of the production line. Poor you. :(
I don\'t know of any solutions to this. Perhaps someone else can offer some advice?
