Title: WHats this all about
Post by: Prefect on September 30, 2003, 11:52:40 pm: Hello, IM a newb yeap im sad to say but Im a newb. ( No offense to all current newbs) but anyways. What is this game about? What can I do to become a good fighter? HOw come the game is so slow and how good with this game get in the future?

If someone can answer me these few questions I will be happy.

Read the History and Setting of the game to find out what it\'s about.

There is nothing you can do to become a good character in the current release. There is no leveling system, no combat, no monsters, no implemented skills or jobs. Molecular Blue (this version) is merely a Technical Demo.

The game is slow due to its early stage of development. The coding is not optimised as much as it could be, and there are various compatability/performance issues. It helps, however, to have a decent amount of RAM (256mb+) and a new Graphics Card.

Who knows what the future holds for this game? All we know is, the developers will work as hard as they can for years to come (hopefully), and with a constantly updated engine we\'re sure to see both an indepth and visually stunning MMORPG.

Anywho, as long as you look before you ask, Prefect, and you treat other people with respect (not the respect you\'ve shown Kiern, as I believe when PlaneShift will feature duels, you\'ll be smacked around if you even try to duel him), you\'ll always have a chance of becoming my future friend.

Prefect, take note of Nikech and Izzy\'s comments here. Valuable advice, as this thread has shown. Hope this hasn\'t discouraged you too much from the game.

Prefect, it was bad luck indeed to meet Kiern in a bad mood. However, if you were willing to act maturely about this incident, as I gave the benefit of the doubt and believed you would, then this situation wouldn\'t have deteriorated so rapidly.

However, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, so he had his, you had yours, and now I\'ll have mine.
