Title: PS on Mandrake 9.1

Hi All,
    I\'ve just downloaded the compiled tarball from the website but when I try to run it all I get is errors.  The errors I get are:

if I run pssetup

Warning: Failed to load `xwin\'; use \'-verbose\' argument for details.

WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.window.x\'
WARNING: failed to initialize plugin \'crystalspace.graphics2d.x2d\'
aws-debug: Couldn\'t find iGraphics2D plugin!!
Couldn\'t load iGraphics2D plugin!
Error initializing system!


if I run psclient

Any help much appreciated

Just posting to make sure you know at least one person viewed your thread. ;)

I hope someone is able to offer a solution to your problem. I run Windows myself, so I wouldn\'t know how to help you in this instance.

it seem like ur missing some file\'s but that can\'t be mandrak related!

i\'ll try it on mandrake here and see what i come up with.

well i can play the game so i guess you are missing some file\'s check the forum here for the detailed installation for linux ;)

It seems that you forgot to install CS/cel.

The best way of installing them correctly is to follow acraig\'s guide: http://www16.brinkster.com/acraig/planeshift/buildmb.html
Be sure that you use the same cvs options. CS CVS is broken in some date

Maybe it\'ll be useful to print the requirement on the download page. Currently, a new user really feels that PS is \'stand alone\'
