when i run the installer after using the run_me_first it says something about a /ncrc if u are desprate. i had downloaded from every source for all and they all say the same thing! what do i do?
-
It seems like your downloaded PlaneShift files were corrupt.
Download the md5sum.exe file, which you can get from the download page, to check if one or more of your parts are corrupt.
Redownload those parts and run the batch file again.
Just a small tip: if you were using a download manager, don\'t. They can cause your download to go corrupt.

download manager? (waves hand in air in confusion)
-
You know, like GoZilla or GetRight.
Download Managers are programs which give you more freedom/options in downloading files. Most allow you to pause and resume downloads at a later date. Some allow you to search the Internet for alternative download sources, combining them into one file in order to speed up the transfer.
They are useful for downloading large files, or if you\'re on an unstable connection. However, they have a tendancy to miss information when pausing/resuming, thusly resulting in corrupt files.

i don\'t use stuff like kazaa. i just use the regular download stuff. should i try downloading them one at a time?
-
I think that\'s a good idea.
-
i tried off the primary site things out of az for all and it didn\'t work.
-
yay. i got it working due to the help of a relative.
-
i got the same thing, but when i used md5sum.exe it just opens then shuts down fast :S
