I\'ve heard some good things about this game, and hope they\'re all true. I dabbled around in Runescape but it never really clicked. I\'ve been lookin\' and man, does this look great. See ya all out there! :)

Welcome to the community, Ian. :)

I hope you enjoy what we have so far. If you stay around for a while, the next release of the game should be here around December/January. Codenamed \'Crystal Blue\', it should contain new maps, a combat system and much more. :)

Anyway, welcome to Planeshift. Planeshift is really cool.
Things you can\'t do yet:
1) Crouch
2) Fight
3) Take fall damage
4) Do much interesting stuff
5) Go far outside of the city.

Hopefully you will be able to do this in a few months when the next release comes out.

Yeah, shadowmancer is right, even though it doesn\'t slow down mine at all with my new connection and all :P  it would slow down 56k a lot

It\'s not the connection, it fills my RAM.
Yeah, I complained about that on another topic. Luckily though, when I\'m using my laptop, it doesn\'t always load properly.

I don\'t see nothing wrong with Sep\'s picture? Even when I\'m on the library computers (166 MHz (oof!) and 32 ram (oof again!)), so honestly. If the signature causes lag, maybe you should consider getting a new computer. That usually works. :P

I\'m currently also posting from one such extremely old computer in college. The sig doesn\'t cause any lag whatsoever, whether I\'m scrolling with keys or the mouse.

How much RAM do you have? This has 64mb. That\'s not even enough to play PS...

Yeah, if you have loaded it a couple of times it won\'t go as slow, but for new people or people who have not read many of seperot\'s posts it will...and you people are all about the new people aren\'t you?

My comp is 200 MHz (lol) and running with 256 megs of Ram and linked with DSL has a shitty video card and can barely run other games besides Starcraft and Counter-Strike(somewhat).

His sig doesn\'t even cause lag on my comp.
