i have everything set up. i have an acct and my character made.. but where is the icon to start the game located?

nvm i found it.. now the problem is that i get a msg when i try to connect that says \"there is an error in the database of your account\" of sumtin like that. how do i fix this?

alright now the game freezes when it says initializing world er whatever. its definatley not my comp cuz i have way over the requirements

From my experience, it\'s not frozen. You just have to wait a long time.

it can take over an hour the first load. did you try running the updater?  you need to do that.  and it will say not responding while it loads.

It sometimes just freezes. Although this is very rare.
I never had to wait for hour\'s :P

if you want to keep your first char name, then you can remake it.
Just delate damaged account by filling this form: http://planeshift.fragnetics.com/admin/form.html
