The server may be down. Check http://planeshift.fragnetics.com for its status.
Also, we reccomend you have at least 256mb RAM to run PS. You may need more with certain Radeon graphics cards (PS doesn\'t like them for some reason). General lag, however, is normal. Most people suffer heavy lag at times due to poor netcode on the client\'s part. That\'s not your fault, so don\'t worry. :)

you see your writing an entire story how i can help her and then moogie is infront of me
moogie is there a time ur not online :P so i can beat you :P

Dallandra, another reason might be that the updater can not connect through a proxy server.
There is a Belgian cable provider that routs all it\'s traffic through a proxy... X(
-
aah hmmmmm a full 256mb to run :o wow
and skizzik could that have anything to do with my firewall?
-
i advice you to disbale your firewall or openup the port for it ( don\'t know the right one by head )
-
256mb is tiny these days. Most new systems have 1gb (1000mb) of RAM.
Allow UDP traffic from port 13331 on your firewall. That should do the trick. ;)
-
It will still work fine on 128Mb on some systems as long as the load is minimised (Like mine, lucky me). The General feeling though at the moment seems to be the more RAM the better.
-
awesome ill try adding that port to my firewall, and see how we go.
haha i reccon if i got rid of all these mp3s might work :S
thanks guys
