Title: I cant get on it crashes evry time

Hello Im new if not already obvius i have been considered a good truble shooter till now.
How do i get this thing to work i switched to windows 98/me and it still wont work and i cant get it to work with open gl it only works in safe mode and how the hell to i fix it its driveing me mad ill scream if i cant play!


Oh and ive got PVI 1.5ghz 35gb and i dont know what type of graphics card it is i think it is a radeon

what happens when it crashes if it hangs on you you should wait but if it actually kicks you out you should give us a bit more spec\'s on it

Hmm well it im just sitting there and it looks like its working fine then boom! it just closes no pop ups no
warning no nothing it just compleatly closes out
and every thing seems to work besides that part its get about 5-10 mins till it does that i dont think it likes me:(
But it sez intilizeing world then closes after 10 mins
Im running on xp and i switched in its proporties to
be running in 98/ME so im not sure what else to say
I whould love to play I almost need it!

Can you find out what graphics card you have, and how much RAM you have also? That\'ll be useful.

Hmm i found out its an semi old radeon and i got 112 visual memory or what you said i needed to find

112mb? Strange figure, but okay. I don\'t think this is enough memory to run PS.

It may be that you\'re running out of memory during initialising world and the game is just dying on you. There\'s not much you can do about that, I\'m afraid, unless you upgrade your PC.

The Radeon card may be part of your problem too, however. PS seems to hate certain models, and again there\'s really not much you can do. I suggest waiting for the release of Crystal Blue version, where alot of these problems may hopefully be fixed.


[Edit: Ah, you could try something actually... firstly, run the Updater program for PS. You\'ll find Updater.exe in your PlaneShift directory. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. Visit the card manufacturer\'s website and download the correct ones. If you don\'t know the exact model, go into Device Manager and look for it in the list.]

every time i try to use opengl mode it doesn\'t work, any ideas on what to do? i have the opengl files for windows, so i don\'t know whats wrong

could be any thing, ranging from bad drivers, not using Linux:P, bug in Crystal space, lack of opengl in cs.

There\'s also an opengl file some where in the config dir\'s. It has some options that can be tweaked (one says you have to enable it if your video card just crashes)

you have something in windows calle \"search\" use it to \"search\" all the maps that are called \"config\" just try the ones out that you think could be crystal space related
