I am not talking about RL religions, so do get all worked up. I am just wondering, are there any guilds centered around the worship of Laanx or Talad? I think that that would be very cool.

actually the stoy isn\'t fully devolped yet they are more working on the game mechanics right now, once they have a complete and thorough story, i am sure many orgs. will pop up

Currently there are no Guilds centered on the belief of Laanx or Talad.

How would you know that there are no guilds which worship Talad/Laanx, Moogy? Just because you\'re mod, doesn\'t mean you know *everything*. That\'s my job you know. :D
No, there are no guilds \"believing \" in Laanx/Talad, as in being strong followers of the two gods, however many individuals believe in the two. At least I believe in Talad, \'cause I know he exists. I\'ve talked to him! OooOOoo! :D

I believe that\'s the first time someone\'s argued with me and agreed with it at the same time.
I meant that there are currently no guilds that have made themselves known in the forums, that worship Laanx or Talad.

There was silverblade\'s guild, I forget exactly what it was about, but there was something about them looking for some god that didn\'t exist...too bad silverblade isn\'t around anymore to clear that up

Whether they follow one or not, all people of all races, know that there are two gods of this world. Laanx and Talad. At least this is what they think they know. There are a special few who think differently. There were, according to the hunters of hel, actualy 3 gods involved in this underground world. Laanx and Talad, who mean no harm, do what they do to gain faith and respect of their followers. The third god, hel, has a much more sinister regime. For thousands of years, while Laanx and Talad have quarreled, Hel has been waiting. Waiting and hiding. For hel did want to be found. Hel did not want followers. That would be her greatest strength. When she unleashes her power, and spreads desolation all over our perfect environment, no-one will have expected it. No-one will be able to put up any defense. Luckily, we hunters of hel know. You may say we have no proof, but we know. Our ancestors knew, as did our ancestors, ancestors. The Hunters of Hel are dedicated to finding the evil god before it is too late. We know she hides in the stone Labrynth\'s... and we will find her. It is unknown what we may do when we find her, but we will. Until then, she waits. Waits, hides, and grows in might all the while.

That is odd, i dont remeber reading anything about a fourth god named Hel. As far as I know Hel is a god from Norse Mythology.

Yeah, Silverblade made it up for his guild, I guess so they could have more of a \"purpose\"

Follow-up: Hel is indeed the female ruler of the underworld in Norse mythology, in swedish called Asa-tron ;)

worship gods if temples start to exist, at least a statue. There is a kind of pedestral in the temple, I usually worship anyone whos on it. lololol. Well now Im going to post that idea on the wishlist. :)

It\'s also called Asa-troen in denmark :P by far the coolest religion.. the others suck beyond mentioning, and should have never been invented...

now im looking for members to help build a 600 Foot tower. of course it will mean the knocking down of the statue in the middle of the town but for the almighty gold cow all steps must be taken. :D

it is good to have some religions it might even give you some advatages or disadvatanges, like:\"if you worship talad you get more for sneaking ( only a example ) and less in magic or sumthin\"
if there are more then two gods like 4 or 5 you can use this system and it add\'s a kind of flavor to the game on top of the guilds and the guildwars.
EDIT: sep i disagree with you; The Great God of Death Dorbian is still the best :P

Actualy, the flame that took control of Laanx\'s lemurs could of been a 4rth god, i don\'t know

I\'m starting a religion based on the fact that our main religious being is spread among 17 cats. If you are to meet these cats, you must present it with a hat, and only the finest of hats will do, and the cat will grant you a wish and then die, the spirit of the cat will enter another cat and life will continue as people search for that cat. The only hard part is that you cant tell what cats are the 17 chosen cats!

Easy now, kid. Talad actually happens to be leader of the PlaneShift project, administrator on the boards as well as administrator of the PlaneShift server, so getting him (and his half-god friends) upset would not exactly prove anything, except that the one who does it is a great fool. :)

i am very, very scared. My first thread sparked the creation of a guild! i fear i might actualy play a role in the history of Plane Shift.... or i might be forgoten in the passing of time.

I\'m not sure but the only place I\'ve seen Laanx mentioned was on the page describing how PlaneShift was to become, and there is, of course, a Laanx temple... But who IS Laanx? (Don\'t be stupid and say \"Oh oh Laanx is a god\") Huh? Have any of you ever seen Laanx anywhere? Talked to her? Hmm? Have you? :D

i chouldent aggree more im having a meeting with laanx and The golden cow,this weekend to talk about a giant golf course for gods and me so any requests i can put forward for you ;) :P

well im glad everyones talkin about me! Well yes it is I, the one who has created the guild from this thread! Please if you have any interest in joining my fine guild do no be afraid to tell me and hopefully join! 5 members and counting! ;) Although it isnt much the guild is only 3 days old! Also check out my site http://www.laanxzealot.cjb.net! And of course i have seen laanx! With her golden wispy hair and lunar body she has graced me with her presence many a\' time. And alas i must say she is a wonderfull person and that is why i have chosen her to be the base for my religious guild the followers of laanx! Well I\'m gonna go eat pizza now (the holy food of the laanx temple) and check my email so see ya\'s laters! :D
