Hey everyone, this game is looking really good and has alot of potential. I\'m pretty new to it right now and just wandering around. This seems like a great community at the moment because I see alot of nice people and everyone is rushing to greet new people on the boards :P. Also I was wondering if there was ever going to be rides and boats to use and own. Thanks for this free game even though it\'s still in beta and hopefully finished soon.

Hiya, and welcome to PlaneShift.

Hope you have fun here. :) I\'m not sure about boats and things really; stuff like that is being left untill they are a higher priority. Right now the focus is on creating a stable, lag-free world and implementing the basics such as combat, magic, jobs, skills etc.

Also, Beta is a long way off yet. We arn\'t even in Alpha currently, although there is speculation that the next release, Crystal Blue, will infact be Alpha. We certainly won\'t see Beta for a year or more, and considering this is an ever-evolving, open-source project, there most likely won\'t ever be a final version.

Sorry for the short post at first but I had to do it fast.

Everything is in the works.  If you?re interested in boats and water post on the wished list form.  I think it helps to be detail oriented.  I have a thread going based on a water-based zone if you don?t wanna start a new thread post what you want on that.

If you come up with any good ideas, or any ideas all for that matter, don?t hesitate to post.

And about the boats, if you don\'t see it anywhere, then you can post it in the Wishlist. That\'s one of the great things about having it released before it is done.
