Greetings all. True to my custom I have created a new Cabal thread as the third one has run into seven pages. I request all you guys to haul your carcasses here. Having to read a thread beyond seven pages is just plain annoying. For your convenience I\'ll sum up the last thread.
The Gathering Darkness :
The Cabal grows stronger by the passing day. Our tentacles reach deep and far within various guilds. The knowledge harvest has begun.

Drachion: Epitome of Evil or Delusional Imbecile?
Do the cultist ramblings of a demented mind make for good roleplay?
Anyway besides that I think Drachion is fun but not very bright. His Satanist views may appeal to kids for a while but everything has a way of fading out. Draklar and Dorbian might think of him as the epitome of evil but I prefer to reserve my opinion.
To Drachion:
Yes Drachion I appreciate your overly zealous but more or less useless resume that you gave to us but to join you\'ll need to fill out our form at the guild site with some real information. I am sure your cultist approach is fine but we cannot run the guild based onfanaticism. It fails to rake in the moolah. You have the Osama approach but we prefer Bill Gates. The only reason I am interested in you is because your approach is sorta unique and I feel that under proper tutelage you could make the big times. Very well then carry on with what you are doing.
To Xalthar- Hey Xalthar I grow impatient. Are you going to join pal??( Let me know if not.

As you might have missed I told you that I would join with an Alt.. My main\'s status will not have any influence upon anything, such as spying within the AO.. Just to get that right, and yes I am thinking of joining with an alt, so expect something soon, allright...
To the Arcane Order, no you have no reason whatsoever to fear getting infiltrated by the cabal.. :P Which I don\'t think you had anyway...

Considering the goal of the Cabal has been to infiltrate and bring down guilds from the inside, I don\'t think I would be comfortable knowing that one of the members of my guild was in the Cabal as well, you are lucky if the AO is that understanding Xalthar.
As for Drachion, I quite like to see the rantings of an evil fanatic, completely self absorbed and obsessed in his own beliefs from time to time - some people roleplay this very well indeed, although why he\'d want to take over the Cabal is beyond me :P

Father Zaylik was very effective in such a role in the past because he remained in his evil fanatic persona, well he did until he finally couldn\'t take anymore of people calling him an arrogant idiot, so had to come OOC to point out that he was in fact roleplaying ;)

Considering, the character I will play with in the cabal will be an Alt, they don\'t have any controll whatsoever over my Main in the Arcane Order.. I don\'t really care if their goals are to bring down all guilds from within, if they are taking on the AO they will do so without my help, and with all the opposition I can hail down upon them with my main... Otherwise, I\'ll stay friendly :P

Well I post this as a final call to all ppl who wouldn\'t mind seeing links to their sites on the cabal guild home. I have Evey and Kada right now. But I\'d like all of you to confirm again just in case there has been a change of heart.

Stop scaring off the potential CabaliX(. I read what you said to Skwirldude. Dont make me come after you:P. The kids are scared enough of us already why add to it.
To the potential Cabali-
Dont believe moogie\'s half baked notions my friends. The Cabal is one of the best and most profitable organisations you can join. Some may call us evil but they are ignorant. We are all about profit(nothing evil about that right). Infact we are one of the few guilds who are actually doing something besides calling guild meetings on rooftops and drinking tea. We dont waste our time in crap like that. We mean strictly business. The only requistite for joining us is broadmindedness and guts to face opposition. The Cabal is not for the squemish who flinch at the thought of blood or killing. If you are inclined to be a self glorifying nincompoop then there are plenty of other guilds for you (Defenders, Rangers, Mirth to name a few). Here at the Cabal we need ambitious and practical people who are not averse to the thought of being a bit underhanded to earn money and power.

Maybe you should stop listening to fools that give you words soaked with false and anger, and start listening to ones that carry wisdom within. It wouldn\'t hurt you, maybe you\'d get yourself free from the world of lies and ignorance, also known as Cabal. Thy guild is about lies so much, that you get fooled yourselfs. You guys believe that Cabal is powerful guild, that you are going straight for the victory. You don\'t see that You\'ve done worst thing spy could ever do, you showed yourselfs to the rest of Yliakum. By your berserk run of showing off with your guild, you forgot about defense. What has happened can not be undone. No strenght will destroy Cabal, it is not needed. You\'ll be allowed to make your run towards victory, but when you\'ll get too close you\'ll be stoped at once. Standing in darkness you didn\'t notice danger that could disallow you to finish thy goal. You let the darkness into your minds, got corrupted, and you actually believe that nothing can stop you. Now the danger of Cabal\'s evilness has been vanquished. Covered with ignorance you don\'t see in what way you could be defeated.
Xordan, i don\'t care what has someone told you about me. Also i don\'t see logic in just because someone told you i\'m a joke, i should be a jester. People say various things. Some words are borned from anger and stupidity. Another thing is that someone might be just voices in thy head...

Well Duh! Drak! Its propaganda buddy. You\'ll never make good PR. I know we are evil pal but thats not the point. When writing propaganda literature one has to point out the good facts and blurr out the bad. Besides twisting the truth is also a good tactic.
And another thing:
You quote too much. Cant you present a point without using what others have said as back up. The Defenders are doomed buddy. They\'ll be the first to gp down with such childish leadership.

How many times do I need to say this. Do not worry about the Cabal\'s strategies. When the time is right you can be sure that you\'ll die at our hands. We tell you what we want you to know and if you think that it is stupid then good for you. All I want to say is : We don\'t crave public approval. We are not like you acceptance hungry fools. We know what we want and we\'re out to get it, and Hell , get it we shall.

But then i thought that you don\'t want fools in your guild (if someone isn\'t fool he will leave as fast, as he sees, that guild he joined isn\'t what it supposed to be). You underestimate propaganda friend. Say brand \"Bleah!\" made better shoes than lets say \"Nike\". You are a newb to the shoe scenario. Would you buy \"Bleah!\" over \"Nike\"? Its all about visibility. Propaganda has been known to sway the wisest. And in our case it is not even untrue. We are a really competent organisation with our tentacles reaching futher in the PS guild scenario than you could imagine. But enough said. If you think we are fools the I wouldn\'t take the pains to enlighten you. Time will do that but only too late for most of you complacent ignoramuses.

I mean you came around before , said how we sucked and proved what an idiot you are and them went off to start your own lame \"army of dorkiness\" or summin. Why do you want to add further insult to your injury. We all know you are a moron with hooves and a quarter of a brain, what else is there to say. You even told us you live in a pit man. He has a brain but suffers from mental inertia. He\'s too stubborn to agree with me even when the validity is glaring. Yet I consider him a fair fight because he\'s not that much unintelligent. I don\'t think yer any smarter than Drachion, at least he doesn\'t change anything in his goals or anything. Look how were you changing your guild: first your guild was just about killing noobs and making others mad (note: even tho you wanted to do that, still you didn\'t see yourself as rl jerk :P), then you changed your main goal to destroying guilds from within, then you changed alignment from lawful-evil to neutral-evil, then you admited that yer stop being jerk and start moving towards greater form of evil, then you started stating that you are jerk, then you said you aren\'t evil, and now yer back to being evil. Another thing is that one member says you don\'t want allies, other says who said you don\'t want allies :P now don\'t say it was that rogue trick, one of them said \"damn\" or something when i pointed that out :P
Still you say Cabal is well organised and powerful :P

Thats wasting time besides there\'s the risk of getting my ass kicked and I have a peculiar affinity and sympathy for all my bodyparts;):D. Some may call it cowardice but they are fools. A few spams never hurt anybody. They serve to lighten things up. Why I remember the days when we kept four threads bustling with activity simultaneously just with spam. Why the poor mirth guys just had one page previously but one spam and WHOOSH! they rush past 4 or 5. So if that is indicative of anything it points to the fact that people thrive amid opposition and strife, and love to fight. These forums are ,sadly, dull enough, what with The defender, Mirth, rangers and all these other scum around, I plead you not to make this forum any drowsier. Without us evil spamming folk you\'ll end up with a happyhappyjoyjoy forum where all guilds are allied and all players happilly prance among daisies. Disgusting I say. Do you expect my replies to be as below?

Please reregister at the cabal board. It had gone down suddenly but has been reset now. We however have lost all our data present on it so this one is a fresh board.

To all proscpective Cabali
Those who have filled our joining form recently (last 2 or 3 days) are requested to make the effort of again filling up and submitting it. We were having certain problems but they have been fixed.Plz remember that it has to be filled as is and where is. There is a check which prvents acceptance if the form is submitted in a modified form or from anyother location save our server. Please bear with us on this issue.

Oh I picked the right guild, but Evil can still be done without acting in a horribly clich?d manner. Maybe I will inspire more like myself to join the ranks of the Cabal to put the fear back into your minds, where the incessant insulting and holier-than-thou preaching has eased your mind of us. Personally, I think the Cabal should have been a real Cabal, keeping entirely secret, being revealed only to those it invited to join.

Well Adrift... i\'m sure that you\'ll waste yourself in Cabal, but it\'s your decision. Personally you are only one in Cabal that i like so far. That\'s because you are only \"real\" Cabal in there. All others are show-off evil. You seem to want Cabal to be more secret. But if you will think about it, even Cabals say they are on all guilds threads, and Cabal has most of threads with it\'s name. Cabals seem to be proud of it. Not to mention Auran telling lies to his own guildmates :rolleyes:

I don\'t think he will lie to me. We\'re of like mind, it seems. And if he did so, I would cut him down swiftly for his disrespect, and take his place as Corrupter. No offense, Auran. ;) But I\'m sure it\'s what you yourself would do in such a position. However like I said, we\'re of like mind, and such a thing will never happen. As for the secrecy-- well there are two sides to any coin, aswell as the edge. People have many different faces, although you only speak to the one that you can lay eyes upon. It is your decision to underestimate the Cabal for what you\'ve been shown, but I do not think such a decision is a wise one...

Rest of them were on Cabal forums. Not much more. Remember there were 12 with 1 or 2 spies, 1 that says he left Cabal, and Xalthar. Makes 8 \"real\" Cabali back then. So now 10, or less if some stoped being active. I see 5 Cabali posting here. And i\'ve seen what were they saying on public part of Cabal forums. They are just same as rest of Cabali :P

If you did you would already have embraced the corruption. Its true we dont reject anybody. The slow witted and faint of heart are eliminated automatically. If you only realised what we are you would be singing a different tune altogether.
Also there is a general misconception that since CB isn\'t out the game is not really playable. From my point of view it very much is and I am having a heck of a time playing it. Never has any game appealed to me so. I generally grow tired of things within a month. Yes it may however be that your miniscule intellect does not permit you to percieve how this game can be. Thats the fault of your genetic makeup and I don\'t blame you for it:P. I\'d just like to say that The Cabal doesn\'t need any physical game to exist to dominate this community. Nature has already done much of our job for us and the rest is a matter of time;). Even if Cb never comes out you can be sure that we will be supreme in these worlds.
Now my only aspiration is to get PAXX to join us. It shouldn\'t be too hard since Venge has already been tainted;):P:D.

The CABAL forum enrollment has now been secured. All accounts will need an admin activation to work. All current members will continue as routine. This will apply to new
enrollments only. However Cabali are still cautioned against posting sensitive info on the board. We are about to add a security structure that will allow you to later. The Board management will keep you posted.
BTW-
Xordan activation requests will also be coming to your mailbox. Please activate them when you see them.

Okay I didn\'t want to burden anyone else\'s thread with this nor create a new one so I\'ll say it here:
I find it annoying that every newbie who comes along to PS, posts a \"Guild Wanted\" thread in this forum. Maybe somethings like links to Kada\'s site, Dorbian\'s site and places like that should be permanently put up in this board once and for all and made sticky. Maybe reperesentatives of each guild can make one post each in that thread. We can allow new players to ask questions for anything that needs further clarification on it. Call it something like
\"All guild seekers please read first\"
That will save all guilds the effort of advertising to each and every player. And keep the board a bit more orderly.

In the post that Moggie made under Grono\'s cabal thread, she said that the Cabal are going to stay away from the forum for about a week. Not sure what is going to be done after that but I am gussing you won\'t be seeing much Cabal action for a while.
It is kinda sad really, I know I am in a good aligned guild, but these people have been shunned for Role Playing. They play their part and make the guild forum section interesting. It is going to get pretty boring here. You drove out one of the things that made the PS forums interesting. Auran\'s speaches, Adrifts wise (but evil) comments, Xordan\'s random remarks, I might even miss Savion\'s third person speak.
I just kinda feel that they were driven away for RPing... the same thing the rest of us do. Just a little sad.

First of all they don\'t RP. A few stay in char like Auran, Adrift, etc. But you cannot justify flames and spam posted by Savion as RPing. It\'s no where close, no matter how much you try. And whether or not he is encouraged to do it, it doesn\'t make it right or anyone\'s fault.
