Title: cannot connect to server

is the server down atm? i cannot connect....
i tried connecting to planeshift.fragnetics.com

If it says that the server may be down and you have a firewall running, make sure it is set to allow UDP traffic on port 13331.
Or disable the firewall alltogether.

You can also check the status of the server by visiting the Laanx Sever website (http://planeshift.fragnetics.com).
