Title: Hi All, Im New, Hope this game is good!

ok now for the question, i was just wondering in this game is it in first person view ? or 3rd person view ? and bassically what can you do in it, can you battle other players and stuff like that ? can you make your own character ?

this is my first time playing an MMORPG and im hoping when the download is complete that i will enjoy this very much.

the reason i thought about playing a mmorpg is because ive been watching the .hack sign series, wich got me thinking about them.

ok well, hopefully by tonight my downloads will be done and you might see me ingame somewhere.

about the views, you can change the camera to any mode you like, press M once to change to free-camera(right-click and drag to move it, and hold both mouse buttons to zoom in/out) press M twice to go to 3rd person view.

as for now PlaneShift is only a Technical Demo, this means you can do almost nothing. just walk around, chat a bit and collect some crystals to buy a mug(or any other weapon).

I advice you to read the forums and the Official website as a lot of your questions are probably already answered in there, also try mogura\'s FAQ(somewhere in the newbie forums.)

Post by: Caldazar on November 01, 2003, 03:30:42 pm: Dont expect to much, this is still the pre-alpha version. You will most likely experience some lag, everybody does. But if you have a good PC, you should have atleast 20 fps constantly.

Post by: Axsyrus on November 01, 2003, 03:31:40 pm: RAM seems to be pretty important with planeshift, i think you need at least 256mb ram, and a good graphics card (geforce 3 +)

i think of all mmorpg\'s this one will look the most like .hack as you can build houses, have jobs etc. the graphics in this game are also very good.

also when i tried to type it says *VALAGARD (or somethin like that asks SAY IT AGAIN) .

You can edit your keys in the file called keys, open it with notepad. Use R to autorun, or SHIFT.
