I\'m not gonna give anything anyway, just thought I\'d tell you that this movie is definently worth seeing. It is a huge improvement over the last movie.

Just saw it. A true Matrix. -> still lots of stuff to think through. I have to se reloaded again...
But the scenario is mundane and things are too predictable.
hmdmhm....dunno yet for sure, but it\'s a fine end to the 3logy.

i never expected 2 to be great because it was setting the ground for 3. i havent seen it yet but i hope my idea about its right. no matter what the matrix was the best of the 3

I havent seen any of the three. I don\'t see such sequeled movies unless all sequels are out. Then I watch them together. So now i guess i\'ll see all of them. Same for LOTR. When does the Return ot The King release in the US?

i agree on LOTR go read the books that\'s way better then some actors in tights and stuff like that.
and i haven\'t seen matrix 3 YET but i probably know how it\'s goin to end and if you all think all the things trough that are siplayed in the second movie you can too.

Nope no spoilers, all I will say is that they explain some of the stuff they did in Reloaded which is good and it turns out the explanation wasn\'t as corny as I thought it would be which is good.

I agree with the fact that watching the LOTR movies before the books can ruin the experience, but I wouldn\'t say that the movies are bad.. I rather like them (the extended versions best, because they have that extra little touch)

I would have to disagree. I read the books and I adore them. The problem I have, and this goes for all movies that are based on books or TV, is that the movies are geared towards the mainstream audience. Those people that haven\'t read the books. As a true LOTR fan I would have paid twice as much to see a five hour long movie rathar than have them shorten them or cut parts out, or as is the case usually completely change parts. And another thing. It\'s been a while since I read them but doesn\'t Aragorn go off to some Valley of the Dead or something of the like? And after that doesn\'t he go down to the city of the seafarer\'s? Because as I recall he arrives at the battlefield while it\'s already being fought. But from what I\'ve seen in the previews he\'s at Gondor the whole time.....maybe I need to reread them...

Sounds good. I hope it\'s complicated, since I\'ve been thinking alot about this.. I even came to the conclusion that Smith was implented by the humans, since he\'s just like a virus, just like the humans. Then Neo was just another way of control. May sound corny, but what the hell.. I wasn\'t sober :P

Yeah books are generally better than movies but its not that movies are totally bad either. Anyone like me who read Mario Puzo\'s Book and then saw the Godfather trilogy will admit. I liked LOTR the books. I hope i\'ll like the movies too.

ummm, auran, if you watch the whole LOTR trilogy in one go, you are gonna be SORE, it\'s what, 9 hours long?
anyway, tolkien was a god, but a slightly long winded one. the movies shortened it a bit(still three hours long each) but they kept the plot and stuff true to the spirit of the books. and that\'s all i\'m gonna say about that.
Matrix 3 was good, but the first wa, by far, the best.
Jessyn <= the only person I know who has read the LOTR trilogy in one sitting.

Matrix 3 was a lot better than the second.
They were both designed to play out somewhat like a computer game. THe second one took that too far. I have yet to figure out what the plot was. The third had an interesting plot and less boring philosophical crap. The philosiphical crap in the third one was interesting.
The second just sucked.
About LOTR, the books have a few very boring parts (old forest) but are good on the whole.

Not seen Revolutions yet - I\'m hoping for some big time revalations, but I won\'t hold my breath after the travesty that was Reloaded :tdown:

Well yes, the LOTR movies have a LOT of cut away scenes, but that\'s how it goes.. All major movies nowadays have to be mainstream, else the companies behind them don\'t earn enough money, and that\'s what it\'s all about... M-O-N-E-Y...

Yes that\'s why I wish they would just leave them be. The only movie I am looking forward too is Neuromancer, if they ever get around to making it. But William Gibson will be working with the director so it should be ok.
