Exactly how far does this go? Does every image, both included in the Planeshift download and on the Planeshift website, fall under the \"copyrighted artwork\" thing?
What I\'m getting at is: can I use the little icons for the crystals, mugs, weapons, etc. from the PS website to use on my own website, or do I need to make my own?
-
So, i hope not.
Im making a web too, and will use some of the art in the official web of planeshift. But maybe will use some ingame images and some icons like crystals.
Would somebody answer this?

To be precise, you need Lucas permission to use any images made by the PS Team on your website, but I\'ve never had a problem getting permission for stuff like that from Luca :P

*phew* for a moment there I thought you meant George Lucas ;) :P

Oh... Well, I didn\'t. :D Too bad though, would be kewl if I\'d talked to George Lucas :P
Edit: Silly spelling mistakes

Anything that is made by a person is automatically compyrighted, weather or not they officially registered in the CR office or not. But, here is the catch... when pertaining to internet copyright... you can use the image without permission if credit to that person is given, or you alter the image enough that it can no longer be considered that person\'s work... but rather your own.

If you have Poser or Bryce, check http://www.renderosity.com
They have lots of freebie 3d models, most with textures but some without.
I\'ve seen some awesome crystal shapes at RO.

Don\'t worry, it\'s ok, Grono told me what I need to do to use the images (thx again Grono :D)
