You should read the website (http://www.planeshift.it) first. Download the game, read through the Player\'s Guide (specifically the \'first connection\' page) and then come to the forums and read the threads in Newbie Help.

If there\'s something you can\'t find the answer to, run a Search. Don\'t post before searching!

After these steps you should know everything you need to, and any question you ask should then not be so thoughtless. It\'s easy to get quite stressed out after you\'ve been here a few months, with people who come along and don\'t read a darn thing before they start asking silly questions.

Not picking on you, Josanator. That\'s just generally speaking. :)

Hope you enjoy PS. If you receive errors, or the game doesn\'t compile/install/run/whatever, Search the Technical Help section for the answer. The most common questions have been answered in sticky threads at the top of that forum. They\'re the ones with \'Important:\' infront of the topic and a blue background.

i did, but everytime i download one of these files, it like erases them or something

Some patience will do you a world of good.

Download the first 5 part files on the website, plus the reassembler. That\'s all- none of the other files.

[Edit: Not working? Which mirror link did you try? (there\'s a list of links from which you can download the files in different countries.)]

No, that doesn\'t matter. Try to pick somewhere closer to you so it\'ll download faster. :)

ok,now i ran the file run_me and my im in planeshift setup,do i hit close,it says completed? and if so, what do i do affter?

ya, hit close when it\'s finished.
then go in the start menu(the *Start button left, down), find the PS links and run PS setup. Then ask more.

ok, now i made my char and everything and i have 2 questions.1, what does it mean when i finish all my stats and stuff and it says New, and confirm?2, when i started it, when it says iniatilizing world or whatever, it froze, is that a bad thing?
