I thought this was worth some discussion (read: I can\'t not touch this) but it\'s more related to guild section than GD :rolleyes:
Check out this link (http://www.theforsakenones.com/sillycabal/) that the Forsaken Ones have uncovered using their new ultra-secret spies in the Cabal\'s own PUBLIC (yes, that\'s right, public) forum.

Nothing in that thread is really important anyway. People know we have spies... does it say anywhere what their names are? No. Does it say exactly what they\'re doing? Where they are? No and no again. Sure it\'s funny (Savion has always been a bit of a dim lightbulb) but it\'s not like this has given you any advantage in anything. :P

You know, Adrift, while I\'m sure you see my point, I look at your signature talking about an invisible enemy, and it really makes me think.
Imagine a neighborhood that is subject to constant break-ins and theft. Can you see the residents walking down the street, looking over their shoulders? They suspect their friends and acquaintances. They throw their own neighbors sidelong glances. They do not trust anyone or anything for fear of their own personal safety.
This is what the Cabal strives for, I believe.
But who is the culprit that always goes down first? The silent criminal who enters and leaves with what he wants in a matter of minutes, or the guy at the bar drunkenly shouting about how he\'s been robbing houses on this one street lately? :rolleyes:
The Cabal have as much to fear from any guild as anyone does from them, and they only serve to make this fear worse by turning every guild against them. It is the criminal who is afraid who makes the mistake, and I am sure you will learn this.
This, too, is my point Xordan. How many of us do you think cannot trust the members of our own guild? You are sailing in a leaky boat, Cabal. Your time will come when you realize how thin of a line you tread.

Yarulion, I see what you\'re getting at and I don\'t deny that you\'re as much a threat to us than we are to you. As I keep telling Savion, \"never underestimate the opposition!\" but he doesn\'t get it. Well anyway this is all too complicated to explain and half of it isn\'t for you to hear in the first place. I would say \"trust me when I say we know what we\'re doing\"... but I already know you don\'t.

ok, but some people might consider brotherhood as a group in which one doesn\'t call \"IDIOT\" all others, and tries to take over everything. So make yourselfs specific instead of just saying \"we are a brotherhood\"

It was YOUR lawful-good guild. If you didn\'t want to be good, you shouldn\'t have made it in the first place. If you truely wanted to be evil so desperately, Draklar was not a good choice of character to turn. You could\'ve made another character and resigned Draklar nicely, keeping his personality intact. Now you\'ve just ruined his image. He looks spontaneous, wreckless, careless and unreliable from his sudden, stupid decision. That\'s my view anyway.

1) In the first place Draklar was good, and wasn\'t thinking about being evil --> he made Defenders.
2) This whole turning into evil was kept in character, I was doing what Draklar would do, and nothing else. So i don\'t see point in changing name or anything. If people want to see me like that, it\'s fine with me. That is Draklar - \"The Hero\" that turned into evil, not for power nor wealth, but because of what he felt. If some fools see me like you said, that is their problem of being blind to the truth, not mine.

the point is you let a few things slip youd prefer to keep in your members forums. you made a mistake, dont try and justify by saying \"it wasnt that important\" or \"you already knew that\"

Oh yeah, and after looking into Cabal hierarchy, you can see that Savion has no idea what is happening within the Cabal. If you are going to talk about the Cabal, do a little research.
Cabal, you need more real members and less that exist only for publicity.

Savion knows the exact cabal heirarchy.
About the comment that Savion made.... IT HOLDS NO CREDENCE. It was a mere suggestion... not the actual view of the rest of the cabal or what we are doing. You people forget, Savion is only a Minion, one step above a standard Cabali.

yea, we can see Cabals trying to make other guilds enhance their defence, but thing they showed on their forums is just too much. And i think Drachion was only one that showed some senses over there... :P

Really this is just too far off, if you hate Cabal that much, don\'t reply, let them speak to themselves, cause this is all we speak about in guild forum, and guild threads fall into unactivity. Let\'s just face it. Without the Cabal, none of your worthless threads would ever get any publicity. They just slowly sink into inactivity and disappear untill someone is gracious enough to give it a bump. And bumps are illegal on this forum, so says the almighty moderators. So you should be grateful, our conflict is the only thing that keeps you on your toes instead of on your asses!

Peolple love to hate us;). That was the first point me creating an evil guild anyway. Thanks to our (not so)adoring populace The Cabal has about a thousand posts in seven differant threads about it, not counting the threads which have other guild names as their title(eg. DA threads, Defender threads... you name it:D). We are the most active and high visibility guild on the forums if not in game. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all my Cabali Brethren and thank the PS community for making us a whopping success. No matter how much you deny we are the most hated guild in the realm.
Now moving on I\'d like to thank our opposition again for making two threads on PS forums about a thread of cabal which was public anyway:D. I love to think of the publicity we would accrue if we made our more meaty(>30 post) threads public:). I love you guys. Where would we be without you:P. And BTW I think that thread is funny too , I\'ve just grown used to it.
And lastly:
Bravo I guess you now know we want to take you over, plant spies in your belly and want to take over BO, DE, Mirth, COL and other assorted fools like that. Oh whatever shall we do now:rolleyes:;(.

I say let them go ahead and rant and rave. I\'ve seen this same thing happen before. A guild emerges, pisses everyone off, becomes hated, tries to take over other guilds, and ultimately dies. They\'re an exact copy of those other guilds. In time the Cabal will disappear.

CB is gonna have nothing to do with guilds in my opinion. Just because there will combat doesn\'t mean there will be any experience gain for one. Second, it won\'t make guilds more important as we will all be starting from same point.

and what should my problem be, it\'s dorb\'s problem he was a jackass and created this character i will trash this one in a month or so when i have a good character made by myself so i can choose which paths to go.

and that has to tell you that it was me, drachion is the nickname off my neighbour not mine and he can be way more evil then me ( i only have the advantage that i think before i talk and he sometimes misses that )
but if someone calles a name and not somete later that person comes ingame, does that mean that he is playing that char?

when it started it was fun but when i got sick of everything i DID become like the cabal and that was a problem ( the soul stealing thing was also a problem )
i think i will not use any other character bout dorbian and just simply hate the cabal ( like usuall ) except for auran he has my respect now since he is the smart one.

i created the character to be evil for a chance and become a competetive opponent for you guys, the guild din\'t knew who i was i had to convince seperot for bout an hour that it was me and a week later the other two leaders heard about it.
but never and i repeat never have i claimed or thought about being a spy, i just wanted to have a looksy at the evil side of planeshift which is not so different after all.
and what my lovely enighbour is going to do with it now is his choise i\'m not controlling it anymore and i don\'t even want it back either.
