Title: CB is MB

Hey, guys. I have seen screenies from the new release set for December and guess what...it\'s not Crystal Blue.

The top of the applet for the screenies, as in the title on the bar, have said Molecular Blue and not Crystal Blue. If that\'s true, then CB is actually MB! Just updated!

I just found that itneresting.

Er...Its not like they\'re going to throw everything away and recode CB from scratch, its an evolutionary process, as most programs are.

You\'re right in one thing. The screenshots are not from Crystal Blue. They are from the current public CVS version. The developers use this version as a \'testing grounds\' of sorts for all the features they\'re going to include in the real Crystal Blue version.

Do you really think they would let CB screenshots start floating around, so close to its release? Silly thing. :)

Now I\'m confused... What screenshots are we talking about here? And why would they post screens from the current CVS build?

Nothing has been officially posted, of course, but some did appear recently. I even have a couple myself. :P

First of all, the SS that were posted were not supposed to be posted, because of reasons that the devs didn\'t care to explain to me in detail (aka \"don\'t post any SS online, ok?\").

And they\'re from CVS because if you want to see what MB looks like, go download it yourself.  The CVS build is close (but not quite) to what CB will look like.

And Moogie is correct: nothing is official as of yet.

I agree with Grakrim, this game is evolutionary, so the versions are \"just\" updates of eachother, and that makes perfectly good sense...

If they\'re from the public CVS, I don\'t see why you couldn\'t... Anyone can checkout PS from the public CVS and (try) to build.  CVS is usually considered \"bleeding-edge\" and not for general consumption, though.

No, Venge specifically requested that I (and I assume everyone else who uses CVS code) do not post SS of the CVS version.

Lol.. December is coming soon, so we will get to see it (too bad no pre release screenies :P) and explore it! I\'m so happy :D
