1:Were you
A)All for the Iraq war
B)Thinking the war is justified, but unecessary
C)Thinking the war is not justified
Explain.
2:Also, do you think Arnold S. will do a(n)
A)Awesome job
B)Normal job
C)Lousy job
D)I dunno, and I don\'t care
Explain.
/BigEdit
3:Do the Democrats do anything besides complain about Bush? (Granted Bush is not perfect)
A)Yes, they\'re very productive
B)Yes
C)No, or least it doesn\'t seem like it
D)No
1:B, just look at the freakin\' mass graves!
2:B, we have yet to see.
3:C, every Democrat has a fatal flaw, one thing that ruins the rest of their goodness
-
1: B. In my opinion, the regim? needed to be felled... but America went about it in all the wrong ways.
2. C. No offense to my favourite action-movie hero ;) but that\'s all he is. Renowned for playing the part for the muscly, not-so-smart warrior, one-man-army or barbarian character in any film he appeared in... besides that one where he has a baby... but that\'s besides the point. :D He\'s an actor. Don\'t give up the day job, Arnie.
Jeez... I hate politics, so why did I just write this? :P
-
1: C - The regime may needed to have come down, but it certainly wasn\'t the US\' job, especially because they are no threat to the US\' sovreignity. I\'d say it was mainly for \"Dub-ya\" to get revenge and oil.
2: N/A - I\'m not sure, yet. I don\'t expect much to come from it, but what I\'ve heard from him so far is promising. I\'m on DirecTV, and as they don\'t carry my local networks yet, I get the Los Angeles (and New York) local channels, so I get a good perspective on it. However, he definatly has to be a great governor to overcome the legacy of the massive, messy recall. Wait, he\'s a republican? Boo! Hiss! ;)
[edit]
Hey, wait... You posted this question after I made my post, really makes you think...
3: B - The Democratic party is great; definatly more modern than the Republicans; although I wouldn\'t say they are more productive than the Republicans at the moment... However, as much as it pains me to say this, I seriously doubt we\'ll see a Democratic president in 2004; that is, unless they pull something out of their hats, and quick...
-
1: B. The regime was as random as my posts. In my opinion. Its gotta go. The US did it wrong tho.
Why did I just reply? Politics is about as pointless as me! :P
-
1. b) bush is a maroon
2. N/a) i dont live there its the bloody califorians fault for electing him
3. d) polotics are good for one thing good comedy shows about them :P
-
1. I beleive the war was necessary, but it was gone about in the wrong way.
2. Don\'t care
3. Don\'t care
-
1: I neither support nor condemn the war.
2: I don\'t care if californians elect Osama. Its their state and they can go to hell with it. People are inherently stupid. Anything wise that they do is just a freak incident.
3: Politics is really about brains and money. I love it. I don\'t care for parties or their agendas. I like the way they manipulate the people.
BTW-
I dont care about Bush. He can stay on or go tomorrow. Its not like i\'m getting paid or thrashed by having him in office.

1: Until anyone shows any capability to unite any of the crazy nations out there, Amercia needs to take it\'s finger out of everyone\'s butt and stop \"policing\" the world when and where it benefits America. If we were really going to work towards taking down corrupt attrocity commiting regimes, Africa would be the place to start, not the Middle East. But there\'s really nothing to gain down there, so of course we never will.
2: The Terminator will be sent from the future to stop Arnold from creating a computer that will enslave all humanity.
3: No politicians do anything, they just talk. And what they\'re talking about is irrelevant
-
1. I was for the war for a while, but now I\'m having second thoughts. Saddam is out, but nevertheless, it\'s hard to unite people of such big region and such massive propoganda. People change their points of view like crazy, just by watching the TV and believing in what suits them. The US could succeed right now, but it\'s practically impossible. Some want to cooperate, some pretend they want to cooperate, some don\'t.
I think US should have finished Afgan before going into Iraq. Iraq was way random to me. One day you wake up and hear Bush talk crap about Iraq lol. You know that it\'s been planned for a while...
2. I love Arnold in movies, but recently I saw how the guy lived... He smokes lots of really expensive cigars, complains like a little girl if he doesn\'t have his manicure/pedicure, has a big collection of expensive shoes. Not what I imagine a leader should be like...
3. C
Democrats are maybe just weak. They mostly come from not so rich families and have harder time to bribe the media :) But when they come together it looks like they are a pack of hungry wolves.
-
1.) C.) There should be an open door policy that if u believe that the war is justified then YOU go fight the damn bloody thing.
2.) B.) A trained monkey could do the job of govenor... (hell it might even do better =)
3.) The system stinks I aint even answerin that =)
As of december 4th Bush is gonna lose the swing states anyway as the EU are proposing a tax on some rather random things from there (eg: Harley Davidsons, Bubblegum and Orange Juice) (woot! dont piss off the EU!)
-
all) man i need to watch more t.v.
-
1) C: War hasn\'t made the Irak people happier. They will just fall into another dictatorship. \'Democraty can\'t be teach with missiles\'
2) B/D: he\'ll probably do what its party/collaborators want.
3) D: No. They speak and that\'s all.
-
1) C : if I had an argument with a neighbour, I wouldn\'t shoot him because he\'s a moron and I think he has a gun at home and would come back later to kill me.
2) N/A : let\'s see the results in a few years
3) N/A : I\'m not american
-
1:C, this whole war is based upon \"weapons of mass destruction\" as everyone can see now, Iraq doesn\'t have any. All the americans want is revenge and oil.
2:D, as all american politicians seem to be stupid, it doesn\'t really matter who they choose. Arnold might even do a better job then the ones before him since he has been an actor for a long time and knows how to talk to a lot of people.
3:-, I think the whole american system sucks, there really are only 2 parties to choose from and only one of them gets chosen. i think all parties that get a vote should help eachother to form a new governement(this is how we do it in holland and it kinda works, at least it\'s democratic.)
-
1)B - Probably, Regime needed to go but America had other motives to got to war making it wrong (Blair followed cause he kisses anybodies ass if he thinks he sees personal advantage)
2)D - Are all you Americans nuts, first you let Bush who lost the election on votes but won on wierd points system (dodgy Florida vote!!) into office then you vote an actor into office because you saw him in some films!!!!! (Mind you looking at the caliber of world politicians he should fit right in)
3)I Dont Care as long as that nut Bush disappears. Hes got about the intelligence and foriegn acuman as a brick.
And before all the Americans start flaming me I dont like our current Prime Minister with Labour much at the moment either and the oppositions (Conservatives) got that much in-fighting that there quickly becoming the third party behind the Lib Dems who haven\'t had a go a cocking the country up yet.
-
aye tony dose have his head up bush\'s rear end
i think leb dem actually has a chance if things keep going as bad as they are for tony and the gang and mr howard\'s stream lined cabaint full of people that are well trained at messing things up :P
-
I want to see peace, and america helping the world for the sake of helping the world.
I would have voted for arnold too, he is better than davis (or so they said) , plus if he messes up, with all the high strung promises he\'s made, he\'ll be shouted from cali with no chance of re-election.
-
You know what? We could do that.
How, you ask? Simple, you guys force the electoral college in to voting for my friend Tim. (He\'s in high school so this will require a constitutional ammendment.) After taking office, Tim will use the pay raise issue (senators get to choose their pay) to black-mail them in to doing his bidding. :D Then, he cuts the fat, and imposes tariffs on all imports (double on cheap plastic McDonald\'s toys :P) into the United States. This strengthens american industry, and america becomes the world economic powerhouse again. We get richer, develop fuel cells, subsidize (correct word?) solar panels and spread the wealth. President Tim luanches a campaign on the benefits of recycling, and diet & excersize(in america, if it\'s on TV it must be true, problem solved). After words we improve our image.(...and setup a program for cheap distribution of \"The Pill\" in developing nations...)

America\'s strength is on exports, putting a 20% tarriff on steel to strengthen ur steel industry recently has automatically made the EU react and tax things that will lose jobs in swing states.
Also America has more internationalised companies than any other country, a tax on imports wud kill them =)
-
You know I was only kidding. :P
True about the international companies though.
I feel no sympathy for McDonald\'s and Wal-mart however.

Bush Jr. has the same problem Bush Sr. had, which is that until the WMD are found and Saddam is found and thrown in jail, there is no closure on the Iraq situation.
All politicians (in any country) should surround anything they say with tags like Auran, imho. For example, here in America it is the Right (Republicans) who are for the war, and the Left (Democrats) against it. In the UK, the Left (Labour) is for it and the Right (Tories) is against it.
Normally, the Left is for more social programs, more nationalized healthcare, etc. But now in America, \"right wing extremist Bush\" is the one pushing a $3 TRILLION national health care plan, and the Left are the ones arguing NOT to do it and saying we have to balance our budgets.
EU countries are constantly voting to expand and strengthen the EU, pass a constitution, etc. but the rest of the world are splitting their countries up with separatist and terrorist movements (Palestine, Quebec, Rwanda, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Basques, Corsicans, to name a few). The world hates American unilateralism, but every time the G7 gets together, there are huge anti-globalization protests.
Let\'s face it. The world is totally fscked up. :-)

Czechoslovakia deosn\'t exist anymore for like 10 years now.
And it is fscked up. :<

oh, this whole thing has gone to hell in a handbasket. i find it mildl;y entertaining that the \"World\'s richest, most powerful country\" is currently in debt by 21 TRILLION dollars. wars cost money. anyways, America should either leave the middle east alone, or move in, take over, and annex the whole damn place, half measures don\'t work, which is what these \"police actions\" are. meh, they\'d just better not attack us.... we beat em last time :P
Jessyn
Disclaimer: this is my opinion. if you don\'t like it fine, you can even tell me that you don\'t like it. but it\'s still my opinion, and you\'d better have 19+ charisma and a good argument to get me to change it.
-
I don\'t think many countries are serious about paying off foreign debt. When you think about the countries in debt to US it kinda balences out.
And you\'re right, I don\'t think half measures will work. I think we should just go on and knock out all the crap dictatorships.
-
I have the solution............. BURN EM BURN EM ALL!!!!
