Ah, finally, some non-spam.

Personally, I don\'t love games for being violent alone, but it can add some realism and grittiness to a game if used correctly.

i think gore is pretty cool in games especially fps\'s. I dont like it exploited though... like someone skinning a person and they show everything... lol that was freakin gross. But its cool when ur watchin a war movie and u see an enemies leg blown off. Just not too much though u know what im sayin?

A lil blood and gore in a game/movie makes it more interesting, as long as its believeble and not just completly stupid and OTT.

There was this one part of Madness Combat (a Flash trilogy about random violence) where this guy got a hole shot in his head, and blood started spurting out in this huge stream, and the guy in the turban and the evil flying clown had to fight waist deep in blood.

Blood and guts in movies and comp games can add realism, unless they are overdone. It doesn\'t add anything to the game either way, however.

8o Isn\'t it great that you can do that in a game so you don\'t have to in real life!

I think the proper question is: \"who doesn\'t enjoy a blood bath.\"
so afterward we can shun whom ever it is...you know, exercise our human nature

edit
also, I\'m getting bored with the level of detail these games have...I\'m looking for a game that doesn\'t just spite animated blood at me; I want to be able to chope off limbs and see accurate scaring and more precision with the weapons. Anyone know a good console game?

Blood baths? Realism? I dunno. I enjoy blood when it\'s done to the point of \"un-realism\". One of my favorite movies of all time has to be Evil Dead 2. In it, blood flows like water. But it\'s done in a humourous way, being so overly done it\'s funny. Even the props. Dismembered hands and such. Enjoying a bloodfest comes from that little evil thing in all of us that enjoys seeing someone\'s fingernails being ripped out in slow motion. It\'s all good fun.

But what I consider more interesting than blood shooting everywhere, is \"What causes it?\" I read a comic called Johnny, The Homicidal Maniac . If you like violence, check it out. It\'s funny and makes for an interesting read.

I sometimes like carnage, bloodspray, the sound of bones cracking, and flesh laid out everywhere.
