Title: Webspace!
Post by: Kal Keraden on November 22, 2003, 05:58:58 pm
Free Webspace!!!! I will two host guild sites for free. NO SPACE LIMIT! IT CAN BE AS BIG AS IS RELEVENT TO YOUR SITE!
NO FEE!
Just send the site to me by email.
It includes capabilities for all languages, just that you\'ll need to do it yourself. The as server side scripting
, we only do Java, Javascript, Java Beans, C++, and php. We include some Java capabilities, like \"Login\" and dynamic \"Sign-up\", Including the database.

-NOTE: You don\'t have to trust me. If you do, great, free webspace for you. If not...Too bad.

IF U SEE ONE ADVERTISEMENT ON THIS SITE GO AHEAD AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

You may want to post any services you provide with it; Perl, PHP, etc.  Anybody can get free webspace, but usually not with scripting abilities.

Hey, you learned to use edit; fancy... That\'s just stupid though, you don\'t provide any server-side scripting?  I don\'t see why anyone would want to take the chance and let you host their site, then... Not like they\'re gaining anything...
Title: Reread, again.

Reread again. Unfortunately, it isn\'t dynamic. thats the draw back. But good thing is that we have UNLIMITED CAPABILITIES under java. in other words, you can even have a game on your website (Tho this might take a while.)

you said we must send you the site by mail. Can we have a ftp access instead?

(Note: this doesn\'t mean we\'ll use your host but i want to test a few things. Thanks for the offer though)

It\'s not clear to me. Php isn\'t dynamic ? By database, do you mean there is an SQL server as well ?
Also, by Java, do you mean client-side ?
(I like the C++ and Java Beans support, that can certainly be handy  :P)

Seriously now, it may sound as an interesting and generous offer, but the specs are not clear and do seem doubtful to me. Could you give the bandwidth and server reliability ? Is that ad-free ? Will it last ?

Like Grakrim said, free hosting is easy to find, but serious, reliable hosting with server-side scripting and database access is what people really need here.

Sorry. I guess I should reword it. In terms of serverside scripting, it depends on the language and on what you mean by \"Server-side\". By dynamic I mean by FTP. Does that help?

If you need an example of what I can do, check out my website at http://www.crimsonandshade.now.nu

Languages Supported:
-All forms of Java
-Cobol

Components Included:
-MySQL and/or SQL
-Login/Signup Java Program linked to SQL
