I was wondering if one day you will be able to make donations this could come in handy for the dev team.
I\'m not saying give the devs money for a good game because
there is lots of stuff that could be added to PS if a bit of money (or alot) was donated.
like actually having the music recorded from an actual orchestra and maybe even buying a fancy pyhsics system like havoc, I dunno these are just ideas but it would be very cool.

I\'m not saying change the music same music but played by an orchestra so it sounds a damn lot better.

Well designed midis can sound quite like an orchestra, but who really designs midis well? :D

I think if the devs ever raised enough money to actually get the music recorded by a real orchestra, the money would be used on something else.. First of all, the music is just fine, and second of all, as long as the music is just fine, money can be spent elsewhere.
Besides, if it was just midi-music, it\'s not about getting an orchestra to fix it up, it\'s just about buying yourself a better sound card. I don\'t have anything against midi on my SBLive 5.1! It sounds great. :)
About the donations, if you want, you can always mail Venge about it. I\'m sure he\'d be happy to accept donations. :D

No developper at PS team will receive money.
I don\'t think there will be donations, any money would go for community events, technical aspect, etc...

So there will be donations to the game, just not to the devs, right?

Buying the right to use a physics engine, having an orchestra, boy would that be nice, but the stuff your talking about costs in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe in the low millions, if your talking about a super good ass physics engine.

Our engine already have a kickass physics-engine, but I don\'t think MMORPG\'s need it.
And the music rocks.

oh and seeing the unreal warfare engine costs about half a million(or so i\'ve read correct me if i\'m wrong) I would think that just the physics engine would cost alot less although your right its still proably out of range of anything a donation could get up to.
And an orchestra wouldn\'t cost that much, I was thinking of a small local orchestra not the london symphony orchestra.

Yeah I think it would be could to be able to donate, but if I understand correctly, the PS team is looking for sponsors more than donators.
btw, why is everyone talking about MIDI music ? the fileformat is ogg, so your soundcard won\'t change anything o_O. Besides, it\'s already pretty good... of course a real orchestra is always much better but I don\'t think it\'s a priority (hope there will be more musics in CB, I really like the ones in MB)

The current music will probably sound better than a local orchestra, and has barely any production costs.
Donated money would probably be used to... do whatever they do with sponsership money, just a little bonus to it, I guess.

if you going to have an orchestra you\'ve got to get a decent one. besides as most other people are saying the musics already great
