molecualr blue was a really huge gigantimous file for us dial up users. so when crystal blue springs out of development for all of us to enjoy, will us dial up beholders have to go through the same old twenty gillion year download time to get crystal blue or will there be an update file that updates molecular blue to crystal blue?
if only my uncle lived closer, then i could use him for his 1.2 megabyte per second internet and be done in under 2 minutes :(
-
also, how long till crystal blue appears
preferably in seconds. will accept days as an answer.

Everyone will be required to download the new version of the game from scratch. Apparently, Crystal Blue will take double the disk-space of MB, but 180mb is still pretty small for a MMORPG of this quality.
Edited: The new version will be with us roughly at the end of the year.

can\'t we just made a \'cvs -z3 update\' from our old MB source dir? (even if there\'s probably more changed files than unchanged one...)

well my internet disconnects every 2 hours (ntl are stupid lamos who wear the same sweaters every single day) so it better be in 20 megabyte sections again or ill be buggered (thanx for such a quick reply). due to the doublke sized file can we expect alot more amazing stuff in crystal blue? :D

Yes. :D
Spells, A better chat gui, improved NPC dialog, skills...

phew, that chat box is always in my face :p lol, dont you think it would be cool if every species had their own city and what species you become decides where you spawn. and there are wars between species and stuff :D
then again maybe my brain has been affected by all these exams :(

Install a download manager, something like getright, or getzilla (if they still exist), but stay away from the \"download accelerator\" features you could get, they\'re not very efficient with 56k.
