Title: god....i cant hold it in anymore!

If they dont release it by christmas it would be a horrible dissapointment.. ;(

It\'s not lik they are crawling along because they hate you, though they probably do since you have to whine about it. It\'s not out yet because it\'s not finished. It would only be one update untill they add unimportant stuff like random barells and maybe 3 or 4 monsters. Frankly im itching for planeshift to finally release crystal blue and im sure everyone else is to so there is no reason to just release the 90 percent they have now... :rolleyes:

I\'m not sure that the source-code for CB is out. If it was, we would have lots of copies, and threads created by leet haxxors that has tried it.

There are lots of people that were waiting for the CB longer than you, but they don\'t keep saying that there should be little updates.
And what\'s the point of doing that now, that it\'s almost ready? I myself prefer to get full surprise, not to have it in parts.

All is connected, so by releasing it early it would create a different game than a later release would. They have to figure the backbone, it\'s not like they\'ve been adding new spells and monsters for the last month.
Not to mention it creates more unneeded work.

I wonder why some people want it to be released before it\'s done....doesn\'t make sense to me. I\'d much rather wait 2 weeks and get 20 extra features.

It\'s called the CVS Version, and of course they wouldn\'t release it. But you could download the code yourself and compile it, or suck up to somebody and get them to send you the binaries (don\'t come to me, I won\'t do it ;) ).

Many people have tried the current (or at least recent) CVS version. There is not much to do in it, but it shows off the new features that will be included in CB (combat, trading, etc.).
