Title: No hardware acceleration?

I thought I\'d finally figured everything out. i downloaded the files, clicked the run_me_first, did some set up stuff, and clicked the openGL mode thingy. (im a windows user btw) well the screen turned like an electric blue and im thinking, crap, this can\'t be right and then it said No hardware acceleration at the top of the screen and just sat there and played music. hmmm. for a long time. the next time i tried it, it did the same thing. the NEXT time i tried it, it jsut restarted my computer and when i got back onto my user there were some pop-ups telling me my computer had just recovered from serious error. =( i really dont wanna screw up the computer so i\'m not about to try it again until i know what to do. mom got pissed at me last time. heh.

Please specify the video card you have in your pc (ask someone if you do not know yourself).

Right now I would advice for you to try updating to the latest drivers around for your video card.
You may also want to install the latest version of directx, can\'t hurt ;)

thx, ill get direct X. my brother says maybe i need a graphic accelerator... uhhh, what\'s that and where to get? other MMORPGs have worked on my computer..

These days it\'s basicly the same thing as a video card. Try to find out what kind of card you have installed and install the latest drivers for it.

go to this page:
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

and follow the steps for downloading the drivers you need.
It shouldn\'t be to hard to figure out ;)
