Moogie: somehow everytime one connects to irc.freenode.net the irc part gets transformed in a name. Don\'t know why. ?(

Well I can\'t find no textures at your website, but if are good at textures, contact Djagg on IRC or by email.
We need good texturers.

And don\'t listen to windwalker  ;)  I got in 3 DAYS after I sent my email. And now we need art guys more then ever.

actually i dont know where i could post something like this and im too lazy to email but im a musician, not a physical artist, and im wondering... Could I make some ingame music? Thats the only thing i could think of putting in game... Although most of the music would probally be accoustic light jazz as thats the only thing devs want in game because metal is too straight foward and sonic adventure\'s sounded cheesy. Light jazz is the only music that doesnt offend anyone.. Too bad.. :P

But i have lots of friends who are great at keyboards and putting toghether some futuristic techno pop shouldnt be too much of a chalenge...

it isn\'t new.. freenode uses random words instead of \"irc\", i\'m currently connected to zelazny.freenode.net and a while back there were pokemon names in the server address all the time.

The first part (irc.) represents the global freenode.net server. From there, you get connected to one of the different IRC servers which are located in diffrent parts of the world. However, should you connect directly to a specified server such as kornbluth.freenode.net (the one I\'m on at the moment), you go to that server, and none other. This is also why netsplits are noticed in channels, because some people connect to diffrent servers, and if they suddenly can\'t find eachother on the network... ;)

Anyways, back to the topic.

Definative, posting your resume here is a waste of time. Do as... someone said. Go to the Help Us page, and find the email address to the leader of the department you want to join, and send it there. :) Or just go to IRC as... someone else said.

Bothers you that much, does it? ;)

That wasn\'t the entire content of my post, just a passing comment. As I\'m in college and wasn\'t sure about the info you gave, I thought I\'d offer the \'usual\' server and channel names. Y\'know... to be helpful. :)

whemyfield: I like that kind of music, but I doubt it would fit very well in PlaneShift\'s medieval setting... ;)

You could just make something you think would be suitable, send it in, and they may or may not decide to use it... don\'t say why you can\'t.
Light jazz stuff sounds like it might fit if you use the right instruments.

Why would anyone take your music (or your posts) seriously when you have a sig like that?

Get real, then think about applying if you still want to.
