Post by: Tedulas on December 20, 2003, 08:28:47 am
You could have staffs which increase your magic damage (e.g a lwo lvl staff is add 1-2 magic damage to all magical attacks) and rings as well!

Hey staffs could do a hell lot more than give a petty dmg bonus. They could have spells stored in them. They could increase a spellcasters ability to wield a certain element. They could give him the spell-absorption ability. They could do more than that. They could do whatever the designers and us the users can think of

Think flavorwise about WHY a staff would do these things. Why could spells only be stored in a staff? What do staves do, channel the power, is that how they enhance a spell? You gotta think...

Well, who says it has got to be a staff? It could as well be a sword, a robe, a mug of beer or something else.

Fear the mug o\' beer of death  :P
