Title: Making your own map
Post by: Kenny on December 20, 2003, 06:36:40 pm
Can/will you add for everyplayer the option to draw there own map of the game or for anything, you just have a clear brown paper and you can draw whatever you want.

Like if you buy a world map that you can draw your defence positions for your team mates and where your clan hideout is etc.

Or you could make plans where to make your building and then you could see if you have enough space to make your house even bigger when it is already made...

Add messages please.

Thanks!

I\'m sure it wouldn\'t be too hard to do those things manually, i.e. actually drawing a map and scanning it in.

I don\'t think anything official has been said about in-game maps, so we\'ll just have to wait and see. :)

I assume that people with the cartographer job would be able to draw in-game maps.... as that\'s their job...  :D

i think you should make your own map with an mapping editor then send it to the dev team and if they like it they convert it and set it in.

There have been large dicussions on this in the wishlist section, You should check there to find out more.
I personally would like it to be a job so that people who are keen explorers could make money from that by selling maps to places they\'ve found.
