Title: Upload Problems...

Hi,

I have got as far as trying to create a new character for the first time and hit the button to upload my character and then after a minute or 2 the button depresses and I get no message of confirmation?

So I then tried connecting to see if it had worked and was told my username was not recognised or a similar message.

Do I have to change firewall settings that are mentioned in other threads in order to enable upload??

Please help, looing forward to playing the game - is it anything like Morrowind?

yes, you might need to change your firewall settings, also if you want to use same name of character, delete it first (as it might be invalid now) and recreate
delete here (http://planeshift.fragnetics.com/admin/form.html)

also it isn\'t game yet, more like a tech-demo

Also can I use the same name again once deleted?

Deleting is only way to use it again

I just tried deleting (my characters name) and it says - not an account

Take it that means it was never activated?...

So I can use this name again??

The name mustn\'t have spaces or strange characters.

Its ok I typed it:  emileheskey

Wouldn\'t let me do it with any capital letters.

I can\'t try yet - currently at work!!

The name was accepted as a name before but as I say nothing happens when I press the upload button, just depresses itself after a while....
