I use this function a lot... what happened to it?

Right below the big PS logo, below the server status, below the \"Random Screen Shot\" is a row of buttons.  The third one says \"Search\"...

How is that any different from the search within somebody\'s post? Whenever I do that, I don\'t get any results. I used to though. I\'ve done searches before, I\'m not stupid. Maybe of you read what I said more thouroughly (which really cant be that hard, I wrote two sentences) you\'d see what I meant.
