So I suggest you keep your posts infused with a dash of relevant stuff and most likely the OT content will be ignored.

About alignment: I don\'t let myself get restricted by my alignment, and if I see that my actions don\'t conform with what I thought my alignment was, then I got my alignment wrong. The alignment is the reflection not the image.

Do you realise how flawed that statement is? There is a REASON cabal threads end up that long. Notice how no other guilds threads are being spammed. The reason people spam cabal threads is because they are defending themselves or their beliefs most of the time. We know quite well the cabal look for trouble by flaming guilds,people,hell ive even seen \'em flame each other. If they didnt attack people to begin with, their threads wouldnt be spammed. They have so much publicity and recognition because they they have turned this forum into flame hell. Its that simple. In other words, if they dont want spam in their threads, they shouldnt ask for it. That seems logical dont ya think? Common sense truly isnt...And for those that say, \"I think they are cool cuz they are funny and entertaining\" They only think that way because the flames arnt directed at them. If they would think of the people they are directed to, maybe they would change their selfish attitudes.
Nothing makes cabal a special exception. No other guild\'s threads are spammed because they dont flame. They advertise. Cabal advertise and flame at the same time, in the same posts. They have even admitted they make a sport out of harrassing people for no reason, just for kicks. Dont even TRY to deny that. May not have been their exact words, but thats the underlying message. Unfortunately not everyone has the ability to ignore most of their comments. And really, I wish they would get it throgh their heads that they need to just ignore them.

In other words, if they dont want spam in their threads, they shouldnt ask for it.
Actually, we never said anything like it. In fact the only reason Auran said that, (first line) is because we were told to. The whole reason that our guild has died down in thr forums is beacuse mods were deleteing most of our members posts for no reason (even if they were on topic), and some of us got threatened with being banned... Which as u might guess got us really pissed off.
About the rest... well u\'r nearly accurate there... we do get a huge amount of publicity, but we also liven the boards up... most members here like a good argument. :D If u asked some of the people here who flames have been directed at, they don\'t mind, as they just flame back, turning into a well enjoyable friendly flame war. :P
And already this thread is turning into summin similar to the others... why? coz people like it that way. If everyone hated it so much it wouldn\'t happen at all. The mods delete becuse they call it spam.... but they should really look up what that word means, as should some of you. If our posts are so stupidly annoying, then why DO people reply?? If people reply (the makers of the thread the most), then it\'s not classed as spam any more.... In fact.. if you hated us this much then you wouldn\'t even had looked at this topic Aelya....

Savion doesn\'t post nearly as much as he used to. Partialy because he hasn\'t had time, and partially because he got bored of the same arguement... over... and over... and over again. YOU PEOPLE ARE BORING!

I\'m not trying to argue, simply prove a valid yet somehow unnoticed point. Sure, you could just ignore you. which is what they should do. But the fact is that many people dont or cant.

How about I have my guild start flaming everyone that isnt apart of them, and then say \"thats just how we are and we are roleplaying\" and use that as an excuse? Wouldnt that be loads of fun everyone? (sarcasm)

The Cabal corruption is potent.
The strength of the cabal is its sly evilness and that comes from the splendid cache of members we have collected. I donot claim falsely when I claim that we have some of the finest minds of the realm working for us.
The Corruption runs strong. And it grows stronger by the day. Even you yourself feed it princess and there\'s no way you could stop it. It feeds on resentment and support makes it strong. And can you really afford to ignore it? Do you want to? And more importantly, can you? Can you ignore a serpent wrapped on your wrist which might bite you at any instant? If you can, then good for you and good for us;).
The Question of The Princess Flaming the Cabal:
Personally I welcome flames coming from the princess. Its a priviledge to be flamed by one so beautiful :).

Why auran still wastes his time preaching to me is a mystery ive yet to solve :P I would have thought he\'s learned by now it means nothing to me. in a attemp to clearly define spam one must understand that spam is classified under useless infomation and I cannot STRESS this enough
Different people Think differently What to ME and some people consider a light hearted fun thread is considered a vicious attemp at spamming by others how just so happen to think differently

But besides for the fact that I regularly pester the princess I see no reason why she should dislike me. But then again her choice of guild members reflects her taste so maybe I shouldn\'t find it surprising that she cannot toletrate the refined evil of the Cabal :D. I mean take one look at the memberlist of DE.......................
(and yes you guessed it. Legpulling the DE is my current hobby:D. What do you think. Am I good at it?;)).

Looky here, why don\'t you follow the princess\'s example and take an oath of silence. That will atleast help disguise your \"you know what\" :P. And maybe with time people might think you are actually smart:D. I mean some people do actually think that the princess is intellgent after she quieted down. Alternatively you could join us and we\'ll help polish your gameplay.;)
Have you noticed how you have gone from from \"honourable hero\" to \"pitiable clown\" over the past months? Well all the more reason to follow my advise.
BTW:
Yeah kiern is right. It is indeed tiring to debate an issue so glaringly evident. Lets just all agree that the DA is a herd of fools(excluding my princess ofcourse;)) and be done with it.

Yes, ignoring the cabal is generally a wise thing to do. Exchanging words with them will not gain you a thing. so most the time i just dont bother, as talk is cheap. Actions speak louder than words. And cabal tend to do alot of talking and not much acting. Not that theres much acting that can be done by anyone...But that\'s not the point.
Auran make up your mind...Do you enjoy complimenting me as much as you enjoy flaming me? Maybe you should stick to one. Might make you look less loony :P
On a final note: for those asking me why I even read cabal threads, the answer is simple. I\'m just curious as to what they have to say.

There is nothing wrong with changing your goals especially when you have failed and are looking for a new disappointment. See the cabal to me are like the little 6 year old brother, they won\'t leave you alone and keep saying dumb stuff just to keep the conversation alive out of the point to just annoy you (i.e. these boards). You can\'t shoot them, but the one way to defeat it is time like in alcoholism which we all face in ps. You wait till they mature enough to where their balls drop. Another possible way to get over this is to get around their circus. See we can assume that since many of the little brother types run the guild, we can assume also that the members are just like the little brother since they share common interests which makes them peers. More importantly you have the three types in the guild: the council, the yes men, and the flaming wigger. Now you hope you can pay off the flaming wigger or the yes men with lets say a pack of gum and it has to be high quality gum like bazooka, wrigley\'s, or juicy fruit. Then what you tell the yes man or the wigger to do is go into daddy\'s closet and get the gun and go play with their friends. Remember the kids dont know it is real gun and can hurt you. And well... you know happens next. Ironically in a sick and demented way instead of me killing the little bro his friends do it for me.
Yes ppl has spammed more just like me than the cabal, but it has created nothing more than bad spam build up. Besides they can go spam on their own boards and have ppl go there.

IMO most of the spam right now is about spam about Cabal. The Cabal themselves doesn\'t have much attention anymore, but when someone mentions them, they flip out about how it\'s random cabal hate or they shouldn\'t be mentioning the cabal because it will cause spam <--irony
We will always spam about something. It\'s a rule of life. Benjamin Franklin said that the only sure things in life are death and taxes. Well, live in your friend\'s car and buy and sell everything on the black market, and you won\'t be taxed, but you will still be spammed. ;)

Nah Davis, The Cabal is the only thing we are ALLOWED to spam about (and Draklar). Is it just me or are these boards really slow and boring now? I mean, more so then they were anyways.

Yes, I noticed that too, and attributed to pre-CB sleepiness. Been hitting a lot of the guilds too. And when CB was delayed, the pre-CB sleepiness was prolonged.
I mean, I used to be able to stay up until 2:00 AM responding to posts, but now there aren\'t any posts being made to respond too.
