Title: Creation
Post by: RussianVodka on December 29, 2003, 02:56:36 pm
In the later stages of the game, will guilds be able to buy their own land and then build on it, or create there own line of weapons and armour or something? ( of coarse all this stuff will be watched by the devs, to make shure that no one uses this to cheat.....)

The pen influences the sword far more than the sword influences the pen. The pen does not just create the use of the sword, it controls it.

May I buy a house or castle in PlaneShift?

If you char has a good amount of (in-game) money it can buy a house, a shop or even a castle. This feature will be added in future releases. You will be able to lock your house and store your items there.

What will be the benefit of owning/being in a guild?

The guild will be able to have a building as a heaquarters. Guilds have also social usefulness: there are nutrition guilds, cloth making guilds, artists guild, etc... You can have alliances with other guilds.

I saw a slideshow or video on how personal property on DAOC works and it actually embodies a lot of what we are planning to do on PS after CB.

Look for it. :-)

A lot of things are very far fetched for the time being. That\'s why we aren\'t talking about the time being.

I think sir you are wrong it?s the computer that is greater than the sword and the computer creates the sword and it controls it thus rendering the pen obsolete :)
