Title: Ranged weapons

I havent heard a lot of excitement about ranged weapons...i mean people are saying \"im gonna be a warrior\"....\"im gonna be a mage\"....\"im gonna be a warrior/rouge\" etc. Wheres all the archers? I dunno, it just seems like people arent very excited about ranged weapons.

lol, I\'m going to be using ranged weapons alot, as I\'m a mage... And I suppose the Rangers will as well. :D

Ranged weapons add depth to a mmorpg, I hope they are included.  

However I do not like ranged weapons to never get used up.  Or worse yet have to carry a ton of them because they disappear when you use them.

One you shoot an arrow or throw a hammer the weapon should apear at the feet of the target, so it can be reused.  Some weapons are more  reuseabel than others.  Arrows should have substantial damge do to them, while hammers  would be largely undamaged.

Ranged weapons should also do less damage at max range.

I love bows too, Long bows 2m long!! woot

When they come in CB I would prefer the arrows to be able to be picked up again (bad bad english ;) ) And when the arrow or all up, you will just have to take your sword/knife. I prefer a long sword.

well im gonna be pure mage mainly goin the dark way and maybe crystal way, then later i may get another way or so, so i can expand my spells abit more

I personally am not a range person. But arrows do add depth; arrows no doubt about it will add depth, weapon variety, and texture to the game, of course you won\'t see me with one. I was going to bring up the medieval musket gun thing again but ehh, don\'t want to start a fight here.
